Wonder if it has to do with the phone starting on ATT getting unlocked and then having the TMobile os flashed to it. Should still get the update like any other though.

It's probably just delayed, unless you can find a copy you can force on there but I would recommend

Got Oreo on my Note 8 last night. So far so good.

I'm confused. I thought you had a Note8, got the S9+, returned that temporarily, returned to the Note8, then went back to the S9+? Do you have both phones now?
Maybe I missed some threads for a day or two.

Note 8 now. Original swap was only money related. 2nd swap I had an issue with email and now quite happy back on the note 8

I like having the new gif features in the messages app as well as the options when you press on the home icons. Mine's been running smooth now - this is day 2. I haven't noticed anything missing. US- Tmobile.

I'm not going to factory reset just for that, since I have a 3rd party app I like better anyway, but I was not having that problem on the leaked beta's so it's kinda weird.

MMS's getting stuck is one issue in the collection of related issues I've been vocal about in this thread. You may be seeing some portion of the same overall problem, as some folks experience some issues but not others. Many of us (like me) have the whole collection.

If you use Textra, you can select "Legacy System" and MMS's will work.

This looks exactly like the problem. The MMS issue is the only one I'm having. I use Pulse and it works, but stock does not.

We’ll still no update. Looking over on XDA I found that devices that have been flashed to a different carrier may have issues receiving the updates. Not sure why but seems to be true as the OTA is out and it’s not showing available on the phone or Smart Switch.

Going to have to flash it it would seem. Likely a better installation that way anyway. Set up as new.

That's very strange I have the same and I got the update like 2 days ago
