T mobile 10-28

Just finished my order for two of them. I'm on JOD. No money down but had to pay the 6.99 shipping fee. Estimated delivery date of 10/24. Also was not charged the $20 fee. I place the order over the phone.

Just placed my order at the store. Their system said November shipping but once I received and signed the EIP, the text confirmation said shipping 10/17 to 10/24. I'd take 10/17 T-Mobile.

Also had to pay for shipping. $24.99 for overnight but manager said they could refund it. I'll see if it actually gets billed and then see if that manager or T-Force can refund it.

My card is already charged. I thought not till it ships

They don't consider it charged until it actually posts. Temporary hold would be normal as they validate the card. My card has a pending charge as well. I won't battle them on it until it actually posts to my account.

Alright kids.....here is my experience this morning....worth a read if you are going from the N7 to the V20.

As of this morning I was still sitting on my N7. Went in to get everything taken care of at a TMO store in Minneapolis.

#1 - They returned my N7 and refunded me my down payment, the monthly payments I made toward it will go directly on my bill.
#2 - They outright sold me a Galaxy On5 for $150. A few reasons for doing this as outlined below.
#3 - They pre-ordered my N20, my card will be charged when it ships which is estimated to be 10/17-10/22.
#4 - The ordered my LG G Pad X which will ship sometime around the 22nd of October.
#5 - They gave me information on how to get the free B&O headphones.
#6 - Because I bought the On5 outright, when I trade it in for my v20 I will then qualify for the $200 credit (netting me $50)
#7 - I called up TMO and asked about the $100 credit for trading in my N7 for another Samsung, the rep confirmed that within 2 billing cycles I will see that credit.

All in all I received $150 in credits ($100 for going N7 to another Samsung and $50 for the trade in profit). I also received a 256mb card and a 2016 Gear VR headset as 'gifts' from Samsung. I figure I will sell the VR and get a bit of cash back there too.

I don't know. Yes, it was a GIANT headache but in the end I am happy. I will use my V20 for a while (who knows, I might even like it!) and will then look at the Note 8 when it is released sometime next year. I really love Samsung and feel badly for what happened but in the end: I have a phone and an extra $150+ in my pocket that I wouldn't otherwise.....

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal that you are happy with. Congrats!

I thought about doing something similar and not using my JOD but any money I scored on the front end would probably be wiped away on the backend with LGs history of lower resale value.

Given the N7 fiasco, I'll end up with no phone payment for 2 months, (3) 256gb sd cards, $40 in Samsung Pay promo cards, $15 in Dunkin Donuts promo cards, and LG will send some B&O headphones. Not bad.

I got my money on Samsung rebranding the Note line as the Memo line.😀 Sounds more safe.

Been showing backordered since midnight eastern time.....it's not true after talking to a rep on twitter...just typical preorder mess

The Rep told me the back order dates were not accurate as the phone was in pre-order status. I sure hope so. I ordered the phone early this morning and I was hoping to have a new phone by the time I left for Thanksgiving trip. The backorder dates had me thinking I might not get the phone by the time I left for my Christmas vacation (12/22).

When I asked about shipping and release dates on this I let the TMO rep know that I was under the impression that the release date was the 28th of October. He told me that TMO ships the day that they get the phones and would not hold onto them until the 'release' date. Not sure if this is true but it is what I was told.

I noticed that the V20 order page is available today. Was able to put an order in to replace my Note 7. Anticipated shipping is 10/17-10/24.

The T-mobile rep I talked to today said that we may receive the device this week.... I hope it's true
