T-Mobile : 2 lines for $100 (Both with unlimited data)

What's up with the throttling after 10 gb? Are they talking about the four line option?

I believe he is talking about the 4 lines for $100 deal -- Because that would equal 10 GB and those are throttled plans.

The 2 lines for $100 is the actual unlimited like we know it today.

Edit - Yep it was updated (the article). :).

I don't see this promotion on TMobile's website. I'm thinking of switching and this sounds enticing.

What are you thoughts? Are you going to take advantage?
It sounds cool, but, no, we'll stick with the "base" plan we have. We get 1GB each and don't use but a mere fraction of that. That's one of the reasons we switched to T-Mobile: The availablity and affordability of low-volume data plans. If we could reduce our wireless bill still further by going back down to 500MB, each, we'd do it. I haven't used but 125MB in a month, ever, I think, and my wife uses less than that.

Right now it's costing us $85/mo. or so for the two lines, 1GB ea., and her having the international long distance package, after discount, taxes and surcharges. That's $1,000+ a year for wireless. That's more than enough, for us. Too much, in fact, but it's the best we can do.

Ah yeah for you it isn't worth it. I am paying $120 right now ($80 for my line which is unlimited and $40 for the GF to have 3 GB of data)... So we can swap her from the 3 GB of data to unlimited (even though she never goes over 3 GB) and knock $20 off the bill at the same time. It is a win win for me... Doesn't hurt for her to have unlimited. Luckily with her work discount we don't pay taxes (it basically covers the taxes / surcharges).

Also on a site note for everyone this plan is grandfathered. Once you sign up for the 2 line / $100 unlimited you keep it. :).

Only negative is that EVERYONE needs to be on unlimited. Can't have say, 3 people on unlimited and 2 people on data tiers.

Still, good price for those who are data hogs.

Not only for data hogs. My gf uses 2.2 - 2.5 GB average .. but with her on 3 GB it is $120 for our total bill .. her on unlimited now is $100.

Just upgraded or downgraded which ever way you condenser it? New plan will cut 29 dollars off our bill plus it will up our mobile Hotspot allotment to 5GB from 3GB nice thanks Almeuit T-Mobile.

Anyone know how long this promotion will last?

The end date as yet to be announced. With promotions like this T-Mobile doesn't usually announce it until a few days before it end.

Nice ! Glad it worked out for you :).

So, just to clarify, it's $100 for two lines with truly unlimited high-speed data, and there's no announced "end date?" As in it's not "$100 through the end of 2015" or something?

Once you are in on that plan it's yours until you switch. There is no expiration date like the 4 for $100 2.5gb.

Do you need to call and switch to the plan or can you do it online?
