T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

Last year the Note 8 was only $179 down I think for basically the same price as the Note 9
I wonder why such a jump in down payment?

T-Mobile's target number is around $30/month ($720). That means if phone is above $720 you pay the difference as a down payment so you can get $30/month.

Yes literally this. Idk what the hell Tmobile is thinking anymore, but that's a joke. I used to rave on Tmobile until I switched to Verizon last year and seeing this - I'm glad I did now.

$500 down lol...
Yeah. We switched when Verizon starting doing crap like this and now T-mobile is doing it worse.

T-Mobile through Facebook messenger said I was qualified for the $81 down and $40 a month. I may go that route and save myself almost $200.

If this is true, I'm in. When I called a few hours ago, nothing had changed. However, since it wasn't officially on sale for pre-order, maybe they couldn't say anything.

It would be nice if something like this applied to the 512gb version.

I use tmobile but for the third time now I ordered via samsung.com and simply pay in full (400 trade in too). If I have to take a payment plan for a phone that means I shouldn't be able to afford it in the first place.

Yeah, assuming I'm qualified I'll do the same. For those of us who'll be upgrading again to the S10, it's absolutely worth it!

I almost hesitant to pre-order tonight.

I think with all the backlash numbers will get adjusted tomorrow.

I will wait until tomorrow afternoon or night to see where we are at with the down payments.

I'm being told that if you have been with Tmobile for 3 years that you would be eligible for the $82 down and $40 a month via JOD. Otherwise its the $280 down option. This is from Tmobile Facebook.

So how does one preorder the note 9 when you have JOD? Do you HAVE to go to the store to do it since it requires you to turn your phone in?
