T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

Have you been on the JOD program for 3years?..How is your credit with tmobile? If the answer is yes? Call tmobile as soon as possible!..have them check your order, it's possible that the person who processed your order wasn't aware of the update!...
I paid $81.99 + shipping!.
Good luck!

If your someone that keeps phones longer than that then sure, JOD is not for you, but for those like me who switch often, Id much rather have a small down payment and monthly payments for a device I can get rid of after 30 days rather than lock myself into $1000 worth of payments for 2 years that also comes out on my credit report as a debt.

I've had 12 phones and watches all in eip and a jod lease, 8 are paid off and 4 still paying and never came out of my credit report.

See this is where people are mistaken. The whole point of JOD is so that your not stuck with a phone you don't want after 6-12 months. When it comes time to upgrade after a year your gonna still owe $500+ on it and are going to be scrambling to get out of it to upgrade to the next best thing.

By choosing Samsung financing with the upgrade option, I'll be upgrade eligible in 12 months, have no down payment, get $450 towards likely the note 10, and be done paying for the 9. Unless I wanted to jump to the S10 or a different device sooner, it makes no sense for me to stick with JOD. For the purpose of least money spent and being in position to get the note 10 next year, the financing/upgrade option thru Samsung directly is the way to go.

Never mind. I got the pricing here.

T-Mobile

128GB Galaxy Note 9: $279.99 down and $30 per month for 24 months on EIP
512GB Galaxy Note 9: $529.99 down and $30 per month for 24 months on EIP

T-Mobile is taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 9 starting tonight at 9:01 pm PT. It will also release the device on August 24. The 128GB and 512GB models cost $999 and $1,249 respectively at full retail. The 128GB model is $30 per month for 24 months on T-Mobile’s 24 month EIP plan and $40 per month for 18 months on its JOD plan. The 512GB Galaxy Note 8 is $30 per month for 24 months. It’s not available on the JOD plan.

Thank you for the break down.. loooovveeee it

can you all see your order status on my T-Mobile.com?

I can see it. It says it'll ship only on the 24th, but I know better than to take that seriously.

Everyone install the UPS app? I've found that the tracking number will sometimes show up before T-Mobile even sends it to you. Then you get to state at the "Order processed: Ready for UPS" message for the maximum length of time!

now comes when will T-Mobile or Samsung start shipping LOL this is the funniest part lmfao, I've been enjoying this ritual for years now but everybody relax if you are pre-ordering no matter what shipping method you use you will get the device on release date some before

My favoi]rite part is when they start tracking flights.....get your popcorn ready.

Did you ever get them to give you a $200 bill credit? I got tired of dealing with them on Twitter and walked away at $140.
No. I didn't have the energy to deal with them yesterday. Too much else going on. I might try today via their app chat. Over the last day or two, it's kind of sinking in that while I might like to upgrade to the Note9, it's probably not necessary, especially at first.
The main reason to upgrade is I'm already paying $39 per month for 2 Note8's, I may as well have the newest version for that price.

What? I'm paying on the note 8 and my credit score is excellent.

I can upgrade now because my phone is more then half paid off (I have JUMP). No contract here.

I haven't ordered because the down payment and the fact I do owe too much to pay off to get the $500 credit. So I'll wait for better deals. Facebook and Twitter are showing so many with JOD or any plan don't want the down payment, so hopefully they'll listen and offer a deal.

Yeah, pretty much the same with me. I got tired of long drawn out process. I'm still tempted to get out of JOD, there's not really that many phones worth jumping to any more, I can move over to Samsung finance and trade in every year and be content so I might do that, or just wait until next year.
