Nope, I still haven't gotten it to work. And yea, about last tuesday is when I realized that RCS was no longer enabled. I've been trying to get my number to "verify" since then.
I can give you few things to try out , first you have carrier service app installed?Haha, I have done everything. T-mobile/Samsung wanted me to reset phone but I don't want to do that ....yet.

Yep wasn't on there originally...even when was working. I assume Samsung doesn't install?? But yes I downloaded latest version.
Yeah Samsung don't have it , does it make any difference?
I have been stuck with this issue for about a week. I manually type in my number and its stays stuck on this screen. I've tried the following: Clear all app data, uninstall app, re-install app, I installed Google's carrier services app(as recommended on the Google Messages support thread that's going on), I've tried leaving chat features off for a day and using the app like normal and then try to enable RCS again. NONE, of those have worked for me. I'm at a loss, I don't know what else to try. It's very annoying, to say the least.
Edit: I'm on a Verizon locked S21 Ultra.
Nope...lol I tried several versions this week...no difference
Go to settings>apps>system apps >find IMS and tap.it then go storage clear data and force stop it , and message app do same and try again.
Check carrier settings. Make sure it is up to date. If necessary uninstall and reinstall carrier settings. Issues with number verification is usually linked to that
This is what I am stuck on.
For those having issues, do you happen to have an ad blocker on your phone?
I had similar issue, try clearing cash and date. Put in airplay mode with wifi on then open the app and try to varify.
