T-Mobile LTE and my Nexus 4

But will they continue to expand it??

Possibly. It depends on a variety of factors, including the amount of telemetry and telematics customers, which often have hardware deployed for five, 10 and even 15 years. TMO has been very aggressive -- and very successful -- in telemetry and telematics, so it won't want to alienate the ones that use HSPA. In fact, while AT&T has stopped taking GPRS telemetry and telematics customers and will shut down GPRS by 2017, TMO is still investing in GPRS and courting telemetry and telematics companies that want to use that technology. It's not hard to envision HSPA having a similar lifespan.
