T-Mobile Pre-Order Question and Comment Thread

Ok so I'll ask you the same question is it too big in the hand and is it awkward when it's in your pocket especially sitting down?

Not at all. I work mainly in a office or at home, and it has not bothered me whatsoever. It is similar to the S7 edge.

we're not talking about a month earlier! we're talking about 5-7 days prior to the official release date.

furthermore, to debunk the theory that ALL manufacturers are pressuring the carriers - just a few weeks ago, LG's flagship was released and my friend had his LG in his hands a full 2 weeks prior to the release date. yes, he's with TMobile.

Other carriers might have felt pressure of losing customers to T-Mobile since they shipped out earlier. But if Samsung said to ship on a certain date and all of the carriers abide by it but T-Mobile I can understand them getting upset. Manufacturers set up dates for specific reasons like accessory availability, giving support staff time to be trained on the new product, build up of hype and so on.
 
While us who ordered from Samsung.com are now wondering if we even will get it this week now. I'm thinking I'll end up cancelling my order with them and order from Tmobile. Should have known better to order from samsung.com
 
I am sure you will get it on our before launch. Just because the info isn't published doesn't mean it isn't moving.

The Samsung website clearly says you'll get it on the 20th. I wouldn't worry until then.

This has probably been discussed - but after talking to a t-mobile rep (he kept saying "good morning" and it's afternoon here) he assured me that the phone would be delivered by Friday. It was scheduled for delivery on the 19-20th. He said it would be sent overnight. We shall see!!!!


Nice! The rep on Twitter told me it will be delivered on the 21st. Looks like you're in the early crowd!
 
Wow I just googled the Ups center in Ky. Its huge. How they coordinate all that freight is amazing

We have five HiTech&Retail DCs right near the hub and airport. We get so much business because we are "end of runway" and can reduce transportation times. (I work for UPS SCS)

There is no guarantee you'll get it quicker from T-Mobile.. you know that right ? So you'd be in the same boat.. except at the end of the line.

It's just the same blues freak out like last year.. Nothing changed !!!
 
After being notified by my cc company via email that the charge by tmobile went through, I received an email from tmobile an hour later saying tmobile was unable to process the payment. I then called tmobile to find out that they tried to charge me on the 14th as well but it was declined even though my cc company said it was pending.

I don't know how to approach the situation now given that the reps at tmobile told me that payment looks ok on their end now and that within the next few days I should be received my tracking details.

I am already uneasy about the situation because after I had thought I placed my preorder at 12 midnight there was a system glitch that practically made my order null and void and I had to replace the order at 9 am.

I honestly don't even know if I trust Tmobile saying that my order is ok right now.

I totally feel you. I think from now on, I am going to notify my credit card company before placing my order.
 
My pmt initiated on the 13th and as of this morning was still pending so I sent a secure message in my bank account about it, how its authorized etc. They told me it would post this evening. It took from available credit back on thr 13th so available funds arent an issue for it
