T-Mobile pre-order thread.

So here's my early views on the s20 ultra.....

Note 10 plus is much more comfortable to hold in hand, I have to get used to the rounded edges.

5G where I'm at in Brooklyn is pretty quick

100x is nice but honestly not something I will probably use often.

120hz is buttery smooth but it sucks you have to downgrade the display. hopefully there's a update which I heard is coming soon.

Don't notice no difference in the camera from the Note 10 plus

I love the better button placement everything is on the right hand side no more Bixby

Comes with 25 watt charger which is quick.... 45 isn't much faster

If I had to pay upfront $1,400 for this device I wouldn't have I lease so it doesn't really hurt my pockets

I realize I could wait until tomorrow afternoon to get the answer to this question, but I'll ask you anyway: did they get rid of Bixby!? Or is it just like the Note 10+ where they allow you to reassign the Bixby button?

It's gone only volume up and down and power button on right hand side of the device

Man, I'm totally missing out on the pre-order mania.

That said, just got the news of my big fat bonus...surely this means I should pull the trigger right?

Come on, someone give me permission. Anyone.

Nah, too much money. Usually I'd be here too but a down payment of $750 for a phone I'm going to want to change in 6 months when the Note 20 comes out.... nah... this time I will wait and see what that one offers.

Heh, yeah this is why I didn't go all out for the Ultra. That said, I'm thinking that since I'm starting out with almost half my phone paid off, I might just pay off the rest in August and start doing trade ins directly with Samsung.

Update: my phone arrived at a St. Paul suburb at 3:30 AM, I'm expecting it to be on the truck sometime this morning, and delivered before 4 pm.

To add on to this answer they have programmed a long press of the power button to launch bixby but that can be remapped in settings

Ah OK, so just like the Note 10+.

All right, so it's now "loaded on the delivery vehicle." But the status says "Your driver is arriving soon!" I don't remember this status showing up so early in the day last time. Regardless, I'm working from home and am ready to grab this phone the moment it arrives.

Ordered Sunday, charged yesterday morning, still no tracking info.

Huh. You ordered only a day after me. Did you get the 512 GB model by any chance? That's what I got, and it looks like I got one of the last ones since they are now on back order. But if you got charged, you should be receving your phone this week at least.

Just got my shipping info from UPS! Nothing from T Mobile yet lol, but My Choice was updated with a tracking number and said it'll be delivered by end of day tomorrow. 128GB Cosmic Black Ultra.

It shows label created 4:38pm yesterday, 1.20 lbs, shipping 2 day air and ready for pickup by UPS.

You should have gotten the Ultra.

All right, delivery vehicle is out and I'm tracking it on the map!

Is the 512 heavier then the 128? Mine is showing 1.2lbs and yours 1.4lbs.

Sometimes the scale just varies. I doubt those extra gigs are 0.2 pounds. :)

I can't even stalk my ups driver. What am I supposed to do for the next few hours.

I guess that's the only benefit to being on workers comp. I have nothing to do beside PT and go to the gym.
