T-Mobile reception and speaker

I noticed coming from a note 4 and note 5, my reception at home is usually 3-4 bars. Also, the speaker volume is quite louder than the note 8. With the note 8, my reception is only at 1-2 bars. Anyone else notice this?

Hmm I haven't noticed that kind of difference between my previous and the current note 8. previous was s8+ and I have used the Note 5 and V20 recently before this phone. My area in general has glitchy spots but typically those spots are along the highway on my way to and from work.

T-mobile here.

I get great reception. Even in my basement I am full bars to maybe 4 bars. It could be the area.

Also something to note. T-mobile is doing major upgrades to all their towers. That's what a Corp store rep told me. Upgrading all their towers for the 600 frequency. That could be playing an issue in your area at moment maybe.
