Looks like there are some new wallpapers and an easy option to set pictures from gallery as wallpapers. Just check under the wallpapers section in the Samsung Themes app.

Just updates as well.
This is the first time I have rebooted my phone since the November update. I think that's over 30 days!
My LG 5 I always had to reboot to fix issues.

I'm always a little hesitant to jump on these updates have you guys noticed any differences

So far, the only thing I see is a new notification when I turn the screen on - "Phone Unlocked by Smart Lock".
I am sure I'll stumble across others.
The N8 has been crazy fast since day one, so I don't see any room for improvement on that front.
It's stable - nothing weird.
Go for it!

Can you tell what is BQLA in your title?

It's the last four characters of N950USQU2BQLA, which is the firmware identifier. For a given phone model, the last four characters uniquely identify which firmware version it is.

Different firmware versions can share the same Android security patch level, but not vice versa. But the manufacturer (Samsung) or the carriers can add their own security patches, so even when we discuss security, the firmware version is more informative than the patch level. Also, the firmware version is more informative than the OTA release date, because the release date varies among the carriers; but the last four characters of the version ID come from Samsung, so they're the same for all carriers' versions of a given Samsung firmware release.

This would only come up when utilizing a Bluetooth connected device as a trusted unlock option over say a it's, fingerprint or other security feature..it's not new

has anyone had any issues since the update? I updated a few hours ago. and about one hour ago, I was at the mall and my messages were stuck pending, that little annoying circle just going round and round. But Facebook messenger worked. Messages to two family members were in limbo for about 30 minutes. Also once while that was going on, the phone auto dialed the one family member and I was unable to hang up the call-it wouldn't allow me to pull down the menu for probably 30 seconds. seems fine now but I really dislike when messages don't go thru esp for family

IME, sometimes T-Mo messaging gets "stuck", although I've only seen that on my Pixel XL earlier this year. When this happened for me, I noticed that other T-Mo customers on the Pixel XL forum also had the same problem at the same time, point to a T-Mo network issue. In both cases, messaging was "fixed" within hours.
