T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I still say tues or wed, past experience has been this way. You get one delivery date everyone gets excited and then it sits in ups hands till they move it and then finally origin scan and then it gets shipped.

We ship a lot of things for my husband's business. This is what the tracking information says while the package is sitting at the airport, waiting for the flight to go out. My delivery is estimated between 2:30 to 6:30 pm. UPS and FedEX have most of their flights overnight. This will give the flight time to get into their hub in my area, unload the packages to the trucks and then they will be out for delivery during the day. Does this make sense? The status only changes each time it's scanned at a new destination. During the middle of the night or early morning, we will all likely see the next scan.

Thank you for the insight.

This would explain why one time I went to sleep with an "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" status, and when I woke up the next morning I had the origin scan, departure scan, etc. and the phone was already on a truck for delivery to my apartment.

I'm hoping that's true but at the same time it's still fun. Gives us some hope and something to look forward to tomorrow if true.

Did you do the My UPS delivery notification? This is the only way that I would have known. T-Mobile hasn't let me know yet and I can't get the "Tracking" link to show me anything when I login to T-Mobile ...I just get an error.

Yeah, I have MyChoice and usually use the desktop browser to check on packages, but downloaded the app this morning with delivery notifications enabled. Got nothin :-/. Good info though, I'll keep checking UPS.

If I may ask, what model did everyone who got a shipment notification order? Everyone getting the Plus? 128gb?

Haha. Yes a worker (me). Trying to explain the behind the scenes process to a non worker (you). There is your disconnect. Also look above the reply from AVANDIE.
Your experience as an employee and customer wherever you live is not necessarily true for everyone else. So you can't expect people to take YOUR experience and word as law. Like I mentioned earlier, in last year's pre-order the processing date, estimated delivery date, and actual delivery occured over 4-5 days. Processing on the 9th, but not actually being delivered until the 13th DESPITE a delivery date of the 12th.

So I think you and the other one can lay off calling people trolls for trying to get an understanding of what may or may not happen or countering opinions you seem to think are facts.

Point is we get the phones when we get them.

So your processing date, estimated delivery dat, actual delivery date change once on your preorder last year?

Screenshot from my post in last year's thread for the S9 pre-orders. If you see my posts after this one, myself and others in my area did not receive our phones until the evening of the 13th. Even though it clearly says the 12th.
So it's not that you are wrong, just that what you are saying is not true for everyone.Screenshot_20190303-121409.jpeg

I was merely questioning what was said - I had zero intentions of ever being a "troll". I was certainly surprised when I was called that here. Not what I expected.

@Mr_Spencer: thank you for seeing it objectively. Appreciated.

Also: Prism White, 128gb. I dislike the actual looks of the Prism White, btw, after i went to BestBuy to look at the physical phone. It wasn't white at all! It was this light aqua bluish color. However, I don't believe that i'd find 512gb to be useful at all for me, as i don't use that much memory currently (512gb is a lot!), so i opted to be sensible and just have to deal with the Prism White color for 12 months. It's ok, just not my favorite -- the Ceramic White would have been my first choice, all else being equal, including price ;)

Ok so as you said...... Once that was your experience! That doesn't mean everyone should have a late/doom and gloom experience. That was YOUR experience. I have had 6 years of preorder experience. All early.

Preordered my S10+ 128GB (Prism White) on the 26th through Twitter & had the tax credited back to me with 2 day shipping.
Welp. My order expired due to e-Sig not received which I did do & was confirmed by 3 people (due to not seeing the order on my account) including telling me the order was ready to go. Along with the tax being credited previously (customer history), $100 of the down-payment was credited back to me with a ship date between the 15 and 22nd for Prism Black (other colors were between the 27th and April 19th). I can't complain since I'm only paying $99 upfront for the + model.

I checked mine on tmobile it still says between March 6 to 8 processing they already took money from my account Saturday but no tracking yet.

I just got the notification from UPS. Based on past experience with TMobile, I will probably get the 'your order has shipped' email overnight. I'm still not anticipating getting it sooner than Tuesday or Wednesday at the absolute earliest though.
