T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I have Wed off so I'm hoping for then. Most likely it will be Thursday because I work 12 hours.

My hope is TMobile US starts creating labels this weekend. Maybe, just maybe, they'll begin shipping Monday. ??????

I will admit that I've been checking my credit card app and UPS every hour since waking up. And yes, it was a workday. :)

Reading all these post how people are not really happy with their lives and family and spend so much on stupid things and waiting for some stupid electronics make me feel sad and think where this world going. Unbelievable I understand we are here just for individual updates but now check cards, ups etc wow unbelievable and serious mental problems of today's world. Not just here in USA I'm talking about world wide. I remember those nice days when we were kids and those happiness bit now people are getting sick and screw up by giant corporations in their brains.

Guys, take a look into your family, play with kids instead staring at unimportant things, devices comes and goes but one day you will realize your kid is grown man or woman, one day I hope you will realize electronic devices are washing your brain but time that pass you will not be able gain back.

I hope you will not find this comment of mine as a offensive in any way but just saying spend your time with family, friends and have fun, don't be in hands of corporate world.

Yes I see once a while updates but now writing essays about UPS cards etc oh I can't wait oh what if they, why is that or this.
Guys enjoy simple things in life and be happy that you are healthy and you family.

Sorry but I had to, and please don't take this as offensive words.

Wish you could get your phone on Monday but guys just enjoy your weekend.

OK...here's a type of post you don't see around here that often.

All right I'll say this. First, no offense taken. You've brought up some topics that are a bit awkward given the focus of this forum, so it's kind of weird to have this discussion. But not offensive. Having said that, let me address what appears to be a well-intentioned if poorly-placed post.

You've correctly stated that smartphones are not the end all and be all of life. In my personal life I actually have quite a few interests and activities going on besides being a tool for Samsung. I'm an astrophysicist by training, and I've defected to private industry to work on renewable energy and make the big bucks while doing what I can to save the planet. I'm a religious Hindu and am active in that community. I'm married (no kids at the moment) and my wife and I love to go to breweries, read books, and travel to new parts of the country at least once a year. I'm into sci-fi and literature. I also have friends of very diverse intellectual backgrounds, and we love debating politics, religion, and all the other stuff you're not supposed to talk about at work. And yeah, I happen to love smartphones and all things related to mobile technology.

All right, so why don't I talk about any of the above stuff here except for the smartphones? Well, astrophysics is a fairly esoteric field, so most people here are not going to be familiar with that research area. Nobody except me cares what my wife and I like to do in our free time. There are plenty of other forums dedicated to sci-fi and literature (I'm on a few of those). And I'm sure as heck not going to talk about renewables, politics, or religion, because nobody came here for that kind of controversy. Smartphones are a fun distraction from the rest of life, and they are something that unites everyone here due to our common interests, whatever other differences we might have. A couple times a year I spend two weeks deriving some pleasure from checking my UPS app obsessively. There are still 48 weeks left for everything else. And it's not some sort of discomfiting experience, it's actually a lot of fun waiting for a new phone and I don't consider it to be wasted time. My wife even makes a prank out of it by trying to get home from work before me so she can get my phone from the mail and hide it somewhere. And if you really want to get down to the nitty gritty, I use my phone every day to read books, look for new breweries to visit, read the latest papers in astrophysics, and do many of the other things I love, all while sharing them with my friends on social media. So it's not like I'm using a smartphone for its own sake.

I've chosen to share this window into the rest of my life. Others will likely choose not to, but rest assured that everyone has a life outside of new phone season. I appreciate your concern, which is why I hope to alleviate it by pointing out that posters here may seem singularly focused on getting a new phone, but that's only because this is a forum that caters to a very specific interest. I've got a great life outside of this place, and I suspect that everyone else does too. We're here because we happen to share a common interest in smartphones. My point is: dude, relax! It's not crack cocaine. It's just the latest advancement in mobile technology. :)

All right, let's all get back to checking our UPS apps!

Did I ever mention politics, religion? I don't remember I did but dude go ahead and contact even CEO of UPS and T-Mobile they may speed up for you

Anyway wish you to get your smartphone even on Monday or Tuesday

Was not offensive note but you got it that way

I have only one question for you. It is the most important question I could possibly pose in the context of this thread:

What color did you pre-order?

There's regular My Choice, which is free, and My Choice Premium. Regular My Cboice is all you need to be notified of an incoming shipment.

Haha, good choice! Same here actually. See? I told you smartphones are a uniter.

Black seems to be the best choice because - for whatever reason - for the last two years Samsung has made the thin bezels around their phones black regardless of what color you choose. I was forced to get blue for the Note 9. Not at all a bad color, but you can't even tell that it's blue half the time because the only part of the phone you look at regularly is the display. I feel like if I'm going to get a blue or white phone, the bezel should also be blue or white.

Oh well. A relatively minor inconvenience.

It's been a quite 12 hours and no one is talking. I'm still waiting for T-Mobile to charge my bank. I'd thought by now there would be something. I guess Monday will be the day.

Sprint people are getting shipped yesterday and today, others are seeing they can’t cancel their orders. T-Mobile people just here ....

My status is also a whole not of nothing. No card charge, no UPS label, no status update on My T-Mobile. Dang, what a bummer. :/

At least they have the new fast wireless 2.0 charger at my local Best Buy (it was only supposed to come on Monday, I guess it's early). I'm going to pick it up today I think.

Greetings all, I'm waiting on my S10 as well but why is everyone getting so down on here?

I thought T-Mobile stated they would ship our Mar 6-8... is there something I'm missing as to why everyone thinks it will ship out this weekend or Monday?

Because T-Mobile has had a history of shipping out early. In the past alot of preorders customers have had their phones a few days before release date. And even in the past a few weeks early. That's why we keep checking on here.
