T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Good Lord this thread blew up today lol. Welp, I'm sure many of you are enjoying your devices by now. Mine arrived around lunch time and I'm setting it up as we speak! This thing is gorgeous. Regular S10, 512gb, Prism White.

It blows up every year for new phones on release day.

Claimed my Galaxy Buds, slated to ship the week of March 18.

Also took the screen protector off. I like using gestures and didn't like the feeling of my thumb hitting the edge of the screen protector when I swipe up from the bottom or swipe down from the top.

Never really been a screen protector guy, but I thought I'd give it a chance since it was already on there. Didn't like the look or feel.

Yeah, but it isn't release day lol. Of course it gets busier once phones are getting delivered though. 100+ new messages in like 11 or 12 hours. Definitely the busiest the thread has been since tracking began.

Anybody got a Flamingo Pink today? I'm guessing not.

Mine isn't expected for 3-6 more weeks... So all these people whining about the truck taking too long are driving me nuts. I should probably stop coming here for a while but am hoping someone shares progress on their flamingo pinks.

how are you guys able to do the recharging, the Smart Switch, and all that so quickly? doesn't Smart Switch take well over an hour for most people due to the sheer amount of data to be moved?

You can run the app while the phone is charging.

My S10 came with the screen protector installed. I'll use it for now and we will see how it holds up. Also to those that haven't done so, make sure you download the Shop Samsung app. It didn't come installed on the phone.

It's not gonna hurt anything to turn the phone on while it's charging. Pop in your sd card and sim card plug it in and power it up. Complete your setup while it charges.

Well, I've got everything set up and am using the phone normally. Mine came with a screen protector pre-installed, which is great. Fast wireless 2.0 is indeed as fast as charging with a cable. PowerShare works with my Galaxy Watch as advertised. Time to take this thing out for a test drive!

You can charge your phone by cable while power sharing to charge your watch. Probably my favorite part of power share.

You can only order the earbuds on the Shop Samsung app. Reason being is when you go to claim the earbuds the form automatically gets the IMEI number and MAC address from the phone. Launch the app, tit the 3 bars menu icon in the top left corner, tap my inbox and then you will see a link under the picture of th earbuds that says something like does my device qualify (can't actually remember exactly what it says) and then it will walk you through filling out the form... took maybe two minutes. Then it will say that it has been submitted and will be reviewed; I got a confirmation about 5 minutes later that it was approved and would ship around 3-18.

Thanks... those instructions were perfect! I just got home from work and immediately set my phone up. The ear buds were easily registered and I got an email saying they will ship out the week of March 18th! Yay!! By the way I have the prism white (like a lot of people) and it's very pretty - even through the clear case. My husband has the prism blue and it is very cool looking!

Hooray, just got my S10+. I already did the SmartSwitch for files on my internal storage from my S7Edge. Any suggestions on the best way of transferring files like pictures and audio from my S7's SD card to my new S10+'s? I thought this might have been done via SmartSwitch, but I couldn't seem to find the option... Thank you in advance.

Blahh, mine has been out for delivery allllll day...and no live tracking available, maybe it's only available on certain trucks that are fitted with GPS.
