I just updated to this firmware. The camera app updated to 5.30.61.6 from 5.30.61.1. I'm going to test it out and see if any improvements were made.

Nice. Report back if you notice anything. No OTA for me since I'm rooted but shouldn't be too long before devs add it into the ROMs.

My camera is 5.30.61.2. Interesting that we were on different camera versions before update.

Haha. I don't really notice a difference, but I didn't do anything today but drive for 5 hours using Waze

I was able to install it via bridge this morning as well. Can't really tell a difference but I factory reset it as well so everything is running smoothly.

Yeah it's the same update. I just didn't see an ota so I was curious if it was on bridge and it was.

I would assume so but if you want it sooner just use LG bridge. Little bit of a pain because you have to us a computer but you'll have access now. Also I don't believe there is any difference other than when you get the update.

So from the 2 minutes that I've had the update, it appears that the camera quick launch is faster but other than that haven't noticed anything really different or better but time will tell. I mean the main thing was most likely just the security patch

Haven't had that problem but it's worth a try to update. Also did you leave the little protective sticker on your fingerprint sensor? That might be the issue. I would think it would get dirtier faster if it was still on.

Connected to bridge it found update says preparing phone when it starts to download after seconds it stops and says can't be downloaded
