Hi everyone,
I've always been transferring MP4 movies from my pc to my tablet or phone, on the SD card.
Purchased the galaxy Tab S7+ a couple of weeks ago, inserted a 1TB SD card and all of a sudden, it's like I know nothing lol
I started transferring from pc to s7+ and maybe 3 of 15 of the movies worked.
The 3 that works, I see the thumbnail photos but the other thumbnails, are just a play symbol.
When I click play on the movie from the tablet, it brings the proper black screen up but shows 0:00:00 time.
I am not a newbie to this and I don't get it. I almost felt like converting all the mp4's into avi's but I truly don't want to waste that time.
Any suggestions, tips or tricks is welcomed.
HELP LOL
Thanks everyone,
Nathalie
P.S. I have MX Player and VLC

Welcome to Android Central! Data transfer of very large files over USB can sometimes result in data errors. It'd probably work better if you remove the card from the tablet, insert it into your PC's SD reader, and copy the files there.

Is this a new SD card or one you've previously owned and used?

I ask because counterfeit cards are very common online and they report far more storage than what they actually have. What tends to happen is as more files get added to the sd card they actually write over existing files corrupting them. They will still show, but like you're experiencing they have a play back time of 0.
