Tablet is saying "Preparing SD card"..... "SD card removed" over and over again?

[AC Question]

Okay so my Samsung galaxy tab a is now constantly saying "preparing SD card" then a few secongs later it says my SD card has been removed. ive tried taking it out of my tablet, putting it in the adapter then putting it into my Chromebook, but its wont allow me to format it. im not sure what to do. my sd card is a 64gb samsung evo and ive only had both less than a month

Welcome to the forums. Is there any way you can try formatting it in a PC?

Also use SD Insight app to check and make sure it is a legit sd card. Alot of counterfeits are being sold everywhere
