I just have a very quick question beforehand... I'm planning on running skyraider 2.5.2, I'm pretty sure I have to flash the radio before I install the rom to 2.15, is this correct? If so, is this basic list of what I need to do in the right order? and am I omitting something?

1. Root using unrevoked method
2. Boot to clockwork and backup to a recovery image
3. Flash radio using clockwork (this is the step im a little hazy on, if someone can link me to a "how-to" link it'd be appreciated)
4. Boot to rooted 2.1 verify radio version
5. Restart and Flash to Skyraider 2.5.2

I've done a fair amount of reading and this seems to be what I'm gathering, I'm sorry for the newbie question but I appreciate any help.

TIA.

Thanks, had 0 problems getting it over to skyraider (but I didnt change the radio).

One more quick ? I'm running the hydra_ocuv_v10_signed.zip kernel, if I were to want to switch to his undervolted one, do I have to flash to stock? or straight to whatever kernel I want?

Out of curiosity, are you running 2.5.2? I was thinking about putting that on tonight, but I'm not sure if I need to change the radio beforehand.

Ya, I am. Near as I can tell everything works aside from trying to record via the camcorder. (as I didn't update the radio b/c I'm still debating installing forever or not) :(

You can install the 2.05 radio from the 7/27 OTA leak without unRevoked Forever and have a working camcorder.

Thanks for the info Qazme, I did take the plunge and forever'd it, formatting my SD Card right now to fat32 so I can flash on 2.15. It was giving me the "No / Wrong Image" error.

I did the SkyRaider 2.5.2 Vanilla, then realized the camcorder wasn't working so flashed to the newest radio. Everything is working great!!

Now just have to figure out which hydra kernal to try....

I would suggest two things:

Undervolted stock speed for battery savings.
Undervolted 1.113 O/C for speed!

Qazme...I took the dive too. I rooted and now backing up b4 I flash 2.5.2 vanilla. Then I was going to do kernel, then radio. Is that the correct order? Also on the kernel what about one of the OC/UV either the 1.15 or 1.113?

Anytime you flash a new ROM it will overwrite the kernel to whatever is included in the ROM. If you are going to 2.2 from 2.1 you want to do the Radio first unless you are doing the s-off mode (unRevoked Forever).

So:
Root
Radio
ROM
Kernel
Happiness

Follow the directions on the Hydra website. Try #1 first if it works great, if not #2, #3 and so on. Not every phone can handle the undervolted overclock or the over volted fast overclock. So try until you find one that works for your phone.

Qazme, probably not my last question but...Skyraider is taking forever to DLon my phone, I am 5% after 20 mins. Is there a quicker way? Also if I do s-off, I can do the radio later right?

I much prefer to download to my pc and move it over to the sd card than take a chance downloading it via 3G.

If I download it with ROM manager I use my WiFi. I'm sure 3G would be just fine but it's too slow!

Ok Qazme...I got 2.5.2 loaded and I am restoring everything from titanium...but do you have to go one by one...if so that kind of sucks.

Also before I load one by one should i do the kernel and radio (otherwords will doing either of those things wipe my apps and data again?)

Thanks so much for your help

No it won't. There should be a "batch" option at the bottom of the restore list.
