tempted by voodoo

sorry to be a bother but running debloated stock ed01 and am thinking about coverting to voodoo. i was going to flash peanut butter jelly time sv so that it would update my cwm as well. here is the question...it states that its touch wiz only....what is touch wiz and how do i get it

Touch wiz is Samsung's UI. (As opposed to Sense on HTC or Motoblur on Motorola.) If you are running stock ED01 debloat you're going to need to download a touchwiz voodoo kernel to flash, which would qualify PeanutButta Jelly Time. just make sure to check out gunnermike's voodoo thread at http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...11-kernel-built-source-sound-undervolted.html

You can, but you'll get CWR 3.x along with it, which will mean you can no longer flash anything written in Amend scripts

Yes, you can. Just download one of the imnuts Voodoo kernels from here: https://sites.google.com/a/imnuts.net/android/kernels (the ones that say "imnuts" are TouchWiz, the others are AOSP).

On first boot, it'll automatically convert to EXT4. Just make sure if you want to switch back to a non-Voodoo kernel, you disable it *before* doing so.

And yea, these kernels will put CWM 3 on your phone, which will only work with newer zips. Personally, I just flash back to CWM 2.5.x (the 3-30 FIX version) after installing this kernel since it will work with amend and edify scripting. But remember, to do so, you have to Odin the tar version of the recovery, since the zip version uses the amend scripting that CWM 3 doesn't support.

Oh, and on Voodoo specifically, if you're not susceptible to the placebo effect, you're not going to notice any difference. If you are susceptible to placebos, prepare for a much "snappier" phone!
