Yes, the last one I got was November 26. I sent an email to a Sprint technician, waiting on a response. I spoke to someone from accounts Dept. also waiting on response. It usually takes about a week or so, but they always email me back.
Samsung assured me it's not them or anything wrong with the phone. It's weird because, my daughter's note 8, my wife's note 8 and my note 8, does it once in awhile.
My mother's S8 I just got her, doesn't do it at all.
When I'm texting back forth my daughter in Baltimore, and she's responding it will say, so and so is now typing, letting me know she's responding to my text.
That's the only enhanced feature I see, if that's what you call enhanced.
As long as it doesn't effect my service. I'll manage.
