How does one do that if needed?

I did it under Settings->Storage

hmmm....after update did some playing with settings...whatnot.

Battery was telling me 6hrs left...it was at 94% ?

Will give it a few days to settle down.... this is a "newish" Nexus 6

I cleared the cache storage and it's much better now.

Clearing the cache partition, not just cached data, is typically a good idea after a sideload:

  1. Power off the device and unplug it.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down button. While still holding Volume Down button, press and release the Power button.
  3. Press and release the Volume Down button until you reach Recovery Mode.
  4. Press and release the Power button to select Recovery Mode. The device will restart. An image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark will appear.
  5. Press and hold the Power button, press the Volume Up button once and then release the Power button.
  6. Use the Volume buttons to scroll to Wipe Cache Partition and press the Power button to select it. If an additional confirmation screen appears, use the Volume buttons to scroll to Yes and the Power button to select it.
  7. Once the cache wipe has completed, press the Power button to select Reboot System Now.

I flashed the N6F26Q factory image last night, and now the option to disable ambient display doesn't work. It shows that I disabled it, but when I pick up the phone the display turns on.

UPDATE: Ambient display has been split into two options. One is in the display settings, and the other is in "Moves" settings. All is good now.

Everything else is working fine.

Symptomatic of the sad state of articles, all the articles post the same link to 7.1 images and not there, these fools at least need to proof read the articles they steal from others to use on their website. Makes one wonder if the other side of the article about 7.1 coming toN6 is true or not.

Can anyone confirm from a Google source that it's true that 7.1 really is coming to N6?

I re-enrolled a few weeks ago when I heard the update was coming. Nothing for me either (T-mobile).

?, these are OTA images. Don't know why they would be posted if not going OTA.
7.1.1 is there but no 7.1 if one wants to be "difficult". Don't think that should be complained about.
Am I missing something?

Re: Nexus 6 to 7.1.1

Trying to side from 7.0, keep getting a e: footer is wrong, e:signature verification failed, Installation aborted.

Disregard, downloaded wrong image.

Re: Nexus 6 to 7.1.1

Anyone get the OTA for it? I can't get my new CPU to recognize my phone. Still stuck on MOB31k

I'm looking at the OTA downloads and wondering which one I need. My phone Nexus 6) is on NBD91P.

With the number of people reporting issues with the speaker after updating, they may be delaying the OTA till they sort out a resolution.

For what it's worth, I was running 91P on one N6 and 91U on another, and I sideloaded N6F26Q to both of them with no problem. I have yet to take a call while driving, so I can't say whether mine are having speakerphone issues. Other than that, both phones seem to work as well as ever on T-Mobile.
