The Dongle...

A few months ago I purchased the Galaxy S5e Samsung also removed the headphone jack on the tablet and in the box came a dongle to connect to the tablet... I tried using the same dongle on my Note 10 plus and it says "cannot connect" I thought it would since both devices are Samsung, I use Bluetooth headphones and wireless earbuds but I'd like to still have the option to connect. When I want to. So question is am I missing something in the settings? or does the Note 10 plus require a special dongle?? Or only the earbuds that came with the phone will connect??

I bought the Tab S4 tablet when they came out. It has a regular headphone jack. I tried the headphones that came with my Note 10 in the usb 3 charging port on the tablet and they work fine.

DAC is the missing piece of the puzzle. I ordered these and all is well again. I can use wired now.

Thank you.. I'll look into getting one. I would have figured that the Dongle that came with the Tablet would of had DAC?!!

In addition to the one Katrina posted, you can buy a Google-branded dongle from Target or Best Buy for about $8. I can confirm that it will work.

I bought the Google dongle for $8 at Best Buy. It works nicely.

I got this one for the Note 10+ since I do a lot of driving in rental cars for work trips, been using it all week and it works great, no sound problems and the phone fast charges while connected to the car charger I use, I actually find it better to use than to have to plug in separate charging and aux cords every time I get in and out of the cars!

thank you again... I'll look into all of them.. it's surprising to me that the one from the Galaxy Tab S5e doesn't have the connection... now I wonder if it'll work with the tablet?!! but to be clear I'm connecting the dongle to a dual 35mm cable... one end goes into the dongle and the other end of the cable goes into a stereo. not sure if that's a reason either.

I went ahead and got the Google one at Best Buy. Work's great.. Unfortunately it only comes in white but I'm ok with that. Thanks again.
