Yeah I'm getting in the habbit to lower my speed down to 800 when I don't need the speed but the one thong I say to do is get widget to monitor your battery temp. Thought I have no issues running at 1.1 I've had more issues running my phone in powersaver mode 125 caused nothing but lockups

yes it is but it makes a bigger difference on roms running the 2.1 launcher or 2.1 by itself it can handle more demanding task with ease

This can't be good for the lifetime of the CPU......

With the way their overclocking this chip, and I sure don't understand all that, without increasing the voltage, it seems that temperature increases are minimal. On my phone I was getting 88-91f at 550, 91-95 at 800 and 92-97 at 1Ghz (ircc?) while doing heavy browsing or playing games. Those increases don't seem drastic to me. But even if I was/am decreasing the life of my chip - I don't care. I will not keep this phone more than 2 years and those types of temperatures are not going to shorten it's life that much (IMHO!!). Of course I could be wrong and if I am, I'll report it on the boards.

I'm trying to use nandroid to install this overclock, but everytime I restore to the .img file i get an error that says,"Nandroid exited with status 25" and thats it. Nothing else happens. Can anyone help with that?
