The HTC One will be a hit, pass Galaxy S4 for ONE reason..

Your stupid carriers I think.
It isn't the carriers. The One was rumored to be testing here a couple of months ago and there were screenshots floating around... somewhere. And it's already cleared the FCC on all 3 carriers, I believe. On Sprint for sure. It's something, but it isn't the carriers.

I see.

Incorrect! I believe Aslan was British. Or at least from the British Isles.

Glad we got that squared away ;-)

So do we know what the story is with the power saver option? I know on the EVO you couldn't get it out of your notifications and I had heard somewhere it was still there on the one but now I'm not seeing it in reviews....?

Also the more I see on this phone it seems like htc is really coming around. We'll have to see if they can get it out there and really sell it though. But the phone itself looks good and it sounds like the week points might be some odd sense quirks and the battery.

I haven't had the power saver on my notification bar since just after the JB update. If people are complaining that it's just in the drop-down notification tray then I don't have an answer for that. It doesn't bother me that it's there.

Yeah that's what I meant, I'm not complaining, just curious if it's still there on the "one".

No, sorry he is from the Emperor's Country and frequents Narnia. Never heard of him in any British location, colony, etc.
Understood, but he certainly sounds like this guy I know who got stabbed w/ a dual lightsaber, tracked some kidnappers through Europe to get his daughter back, beating the piss out of them all along the way, had a showdown with some wolves and saved over a thousand Jews from the Nazis. He might have been Scottish though. Still the British isles, right?

Think that guy is Irish. Can't remember who it is, but yes, he does sound very similar.

I will make a prediction that the HTC One will not win against any Samsung device, during a comparison rest. This includes major tech sites and blogs. I don't give comparison test much attention aside from learning new things, but others might need these type of things to persuade them. It's already started over on PD, I'm sure others will follow suit.

Edit: I'm basing this off of what happened last year with the One X. HTC can't write a large enough check to win... Lol. I'm still getting One once it gets released

Comparisons in terms of what? Design goes to the One. Camera, I'm not too sure. I haven't heard anything about the S4s but I've seen mixed reviews about the One. Performance? Think that depends on which variant of the S4 they use but I expect the One to win. Dunno what else goes into these test because I barely look at them but I think the One will hold its own..

Besides, if HTC makes commercials like the one they did while outside of the Samsung event, oh boy, look out. That's all that needs to be said. LOOK OUT. Stellar commercials like that which show off the useful features, along with the fact its got a notable name and beautiful design? Look out Samsung. Heck, look out Apple and the iPhone as well.
