Northern New Jersey, last used my Xoom about 10pm last night. Woke uo tp the update at 7am this morning, so it came somewhere in the night. 5-14-11

I put it to charge so I can take it to the beauty salon so have not seen anything yet. How do you guys feel about the update? I hope more apps are available and Force Closes stop

Wifi from Staples in Kentucky, 3 weeks old. Tried date switch at 2AM, did not work. It was there after 7AM this morning.

My 24 hour check was not due for another 19 hours in theory, but it came anyways. I'm guessing those doing the date switch check to force a check are wasting their time, this thing gets pushed when they want a series of units to get it.

I am in California, WiFi Xoom from Costco. I woke up at 3 am and saw the notification light blinking. When I got up at 5 am there was a message that said the update was waiting and it would reboot and install it.

Verizon 3g , using Wi-Fi only. Turned on this morning. Western PA

I checked the status last night at 10pm and it said "Up to date, last check 8:45pm". I woke my WiFi Xoom up this morning and had the message the update is available. Told it to install and a few minutes later it was done.

It was not time for it to have checked for updates again, nor had I touched it after 10pm so it almost looks like they somehow "pushed" the update to the Xoom rather than it waiting for the next scheduled check.

Interesting- did you all notice that NOW AFTER THE UPDATE there is a "check now" for updates button? That wasn't there before. Hmmm

3.1 is now available in the UK. Will update when I get home from work.

yes they do have an ability to push over the air updates.

Woke up this morning about 730am and there it was. I have to say my wifi zoom from best buy seems smoother after this update. Could be wishful thinking but seems like it to me. Super happy about the adjustable Widgets. What else can do with update? I don't have a BT mouse or keyboard yet.
