Still nothing around Chicago. Force stopping the framework didn't do anything for me.

Got it. I cleared the Google Services Framework 3 times before it started downloading.

I have been doing that for the past twn in and still nothing. Oh well. Guess I have to wait. I'll try it again later tonight to see if I have better luck.

Could someone post a screen shot of the OS details from settings when you get upgraded? Curious what the version information is saying now.

Still waiting patiently(?) in Denver... :p

Denver FTW!!

(I am waiting for it as well) LOL

Re: The Jelly Bean OTA update has started. Post yours here.

Do i need to be rooted or have bootloader unlocked or anything to update via the link? I've got it downloaded but when I go to boot to recover all i get is an android on it's back with a red triangle around an exclamation point.

Wow, thanks for the link!

Any word on how we go about installing it though? Haha.

I am interested in knowing how to use that link as well. I have never rooted or used the fastbooter before.

When I update using the link where do I store the zip file? Do I throw it in the sd card folder since the gnex doesn't have an sd card?

How do we manually install this on our phones??

Can anyone help me out here?

Relax guys.. You need to boot into a custom recovery to use the update.zip manual method. Further instructions can be found reading this AC blog post...

Um.... Found something different while playing with the camera. Seems to me sprint removed the swipe up to delete feature. Why!? Can anyone else confirm this?

Re: The Jelly Bean OTA update has started. Post yours here.

I guess I'll just have to keep mashing the check updates button. This is making me sad.

Re: The Jelly Bean OTA update has started. Post yours here.

Downloading now, after the entire day trying this is what I did (yes I know it was posted before, but figured a little more encouragement that it works is in order):

-Shut Down the phone.
-Pulled the battery for 5 minutes.
-Put the battery back in and started up like normal.
-Went directly into Settings -> Apps -> All
-Go into "Google Services Framework"
-Cleared Data
-Force Stopped
-Went to About Phone -> System Updates -> Check Now.
-Checked for update (Each time, if you correctly reset the framework, it was showing the date of 12/31/1969 if I remember correctly).
(For 5 times in a row, it said the system was up to date, on the sixth try, JACKPOT) For the first 5 times, I only started over where I cleared the data (i.e. didn't pull the battery again or restart the phone).

So if it's not working for you yet, keep trying, the persistence pays off.

Did anybody get it near Chicago or at least in Illinois at all?

Just FYI--clearing the framework, while enabling you to "force" the update, will also have some other effects. Notably, some users reported back saying it took a while for the Play Store to recognize their device. (This was during the madness/insanity of the 4.0.4 updates over in the VZW neck of the woods :))

i seem to have lost INSTANT PUSH on my Gmail after this JB Update. i remember this same thing happened on my old EVO after a major OS Update. the only fix was a hard reset back to factory fresh state followed by a manual re-sync and reinstall of all Apps (NOT a Restore with a Backup App).

i'm doing a factory reset now.

has anyone else lost their INSTANT PUSH on Gmail post JB update?
