He pulled in Linaro after he "stopped", parting gifts. I think he is having fun again, without the hassles, just feeding a few trusted members. I'm honored. I feel like the zoom zoom kid on the Mazda commercial.

It's not exactly a private distribution model if he makes public releases as well. In fact, most of his releases are public. About 97% really.

If you had posted useful test information for thekraven instead of so many off topic posts like this, you might have been selected as a tester. Just sayin'........

I'd be careful about burning bridges too, like asking for a copy to be sent to you. You never know what thekraven may do with this in the future.

I'm pretty new to the Optimus but, I do have an opinion (probably not well received). If the rom will no longer be supported, there is no logical reason to not put it out in the wild. I'm not saying release it without permission but, permission should be given. There are plenty of people who have done nothing "wrong" who could enjoy and appreciate thekravens hatd work.

That's the thing though, We do not have permission to release it. Also the logical reason is because thekraven did not want it released to the public. It's not about people doing the wrong things either. Releasing it is completely up to thekraven and no amount of QQ will change that. I'm sorry

In the quattrimus thread, @EnMod stated he uses 729/480 with SmartassV2. I've come to respect his info, (as I do some of you here).

"No longer supported" is not really true, since there have been two releases in two days after about two weeks of quietness from thekraven. The future is still unclear, but the "parting gifts" are sweet, I'm keeping one set of fingers crossed that more PMs arrive with new goodies.

That's cool. People get burnt out. Even something you enjoy can get to you sometimes. If development truly does stop, I would hope thekraven would release it and tell everyone they are on their own.

that's all i've noticed thus far.....besides some performance enhancements....

Does the "show notification count in system" affect app notifications? I see some that were really late before a14 are now prompt. Or is that just the speed of the linaro optimization?

edit - Googled and read plenty, most hits are on Stack Overflow; not being a developer it is not clear, looks like maybe, maybe not.

Sorry your to late if you've read anything the latest and sounds like the most stable release is for a selected few. I am not one of those but I respect kraven for his actions. If your looking for ics rom try tdm's over on ov I'm running aokp.

I really wanna hop on the Dec bandwagon and start making rooms or apps or anything to make myself semiusefull because right now I feel like a leach sucking up everything the Devs put out so any tips things I need were it would be good to start it would be pretty cool. Ah I see, I understood that some users were "testers" but I thought he may still be updating the github page, thanks though. I may check out aokp, I read good things on Lifehacker about it.
