I work in pharmacological and medical information, so I'm familiar with it and yes, it's very misunderstood.

Yes. I was diagnosed in 2000, right in the middle of my nursing career. It definitely put a crimp on our life plans.

We've adapted over time but I never know from one day to the next which symptom will manifest itself from numbness and weakness to memory issues to vision loss. Yes, its a joy. <sarcasm >

Some people have it worse than others. I'm still mobile, so I consider myself very lucky 14 years into the disease.

Thanks for doing the Bike Ride, that's a tough haul.
