The LG G2 has themes?

Care to share the link for the theme? Please, I tried the xda link but it's not going through.

Using Nova launcher with Nexus 5 wallpaper and KitKat icon pack will produce the same result.

I love the stock launcher too. I got the lg smartworld app and was able to dl a couple themes and keyboard skins that i really love. I also tweaked some settings for more visual appeal and now im totally more in love with the g2. :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just the AT&T version that doesn't have themes.

But the question is.. are we REALLY surprised? lol

I'm so sick of these phones varying with providers. Make one damn phone for everyone.

Preach on!! totally agree. Unfortunately LG doesnt have the power that samsung, apple, or even HTC has at the moment... hopefully that changes cause LG definitely deserves more!

Why on Earth did AT&T remove the ability to change themes? That's so sad. And such a silly thing to remove. Doesn't make sense.

they want you to know they own you and will make you look at the phone the way they want it! lol

Kind of reviving an old post here but in case you have AT&T G2 you can enable themes as follows (sorry, Junior Member here; no link posting capability):

  1. Download Launcher Pro from Google Play Store. (You don't have to set it as default or anything, just download it)
  2. The launcher should give you a widget named "Activities". Place this on your Home Screen. When you tap it, a popup menu should appear.
  3. Search for the dropdown header "Home". When you tap it, find and tap the child header "com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActivity"
  4. Going into this widget, find (feature_use_theme) and make it true (tap on it).
  5. Voilà, themes are now available to D800 variant of LG G2, accessible from the home screen.

All credit goes to XDA Developer RocketSauce83.

Good luck!

How did you download themes in your lg g2 without those nasty launchers?? moreover is it possible without ROOTING my phone??

The above post shows how to enable themes option without rooting or replacing launcher. Don't have to replace stock launcher with Launcher Pro, just use it to add themes setting. You can get theme apk from XDA under g2 apps and themes.
