The LG G3 has arrived :-)

Re: Glad your all enjoying your G3

LG did such an amazing job with the G3 that I don't miss/worry about IP67, Wireless Charging.

Honestly, we are so lucky how all these companies did a great job improving their flagahips whether it's hTc One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 or Sony XPERIA Z2.

Re: Who is keeping the G3? or Selling to aquire the Note 4?

I owned galaxy s 1-4 and note 1-2. They were some of the most bug free well performing devices I have owned. If they had a 32 GB S5, I would probably have it too. The note 3 was too large for my taste not to mention all the features of touchwiz, I just lost interest.

y do u need a 32GB when u can jus grab a SD card

Keeping G3. The UI on the G3 is soo much better than Touchwiz. Plus if that Note 4 has that damn heart rate monitor.....that will definitely be a no go lol.

i havent used a native UI in like 4 years

Re: Who is keeping the G3? or Selling to aquire the Note 4?

My experience stems from owning a GS4 that was introduced without the NSA bootloader and such.
Further updates tightened the screws and got to the point where they are using a NSA SHA256 signed bootloader.
They added a flash counter to see if you have tampered with the original OS and if you have it permanently voids your warranty.

They really want the secure gov't enterprise space.
That's just a start of why I will never buy another Samsung device.

well u cant blame them for going after a government contract thats pretty big for them as a company but i kno wut u mean but i never tamper wit mu os so i never have a issue i jus use launchers

Re: Glad your all enjoying your G3

My first ever LG device and I'm loving every second.
Amazing screen, amazing speed, amazing battery, nice and clean UI, amazing build + looks and amazing camera, I think I made the correct choice.

Perfect early birthday present for myself. (+ the G watch)

Some did a better job than others but I agree we are lucky to have this kind of displays, features ect.

So does this mean no upgrades for a while lol

So your happy with your birthday present to yourself, I concur you and many others made the right choice.

This is my 3rd lg device ones before were early days phones eg the Snap & cookie.

I like you glad I opted for the G3, I was going to go for the M8 but camera & nano sim were no go areas for me.

Coming from the Note 3 and having the G3 I don't see myself going back to Samsung any time soon unless they make bigger changes. In all honesty if blackberry improves on their devices I would go back.

Re: Glad your all enjoying your G3

A great upgrade for me from the Nexus 4.
Over the moon with my G3, it has more than exceeded my expectations!

2 very slight niggles - I'm struggling to get wireless charging to work with the cheap Qi charger from eBay and I get a notification when I boot up the phone (cant remember exactly what it says) but after some research, it's related to the Google Keyboard. So really, my 2 niggles are nothing to to with the phone itself then!
One happy customer - 10/10 LG :)

Been there done that Samsung thing. I'll switch to the iPhone before I ever buy another phone, tablet or anything electronic from Samsung.

Re: Who is keeping the G3? or Selling to aquire the Note 4?

I think Samsung's issue is Apple and they need to focus more on what customers want instead of trying to focus on gimmicks to outdo the iPhone.

A tidier Ui and features that just work and well :-)

Innovation is a great thing but it needs to be focused and not just a case of a bit of this, a bit if that, and a bit of the other.

Of All the Samsung's I have owned I have never had any major issues. I just simply got fed up and what other OEM's were offering, better fitted my likes.

So I don't hate I just think that Samsung took a turn in the wrong direction or perhaps being a bit to stubborn lol

If you have more internal space and a SD card... You then have even more space :D.

We are both waiting to see what the Note 4 has... I'm also waiting to see the X + 1... Then I'll decide. She will either get the G3 or the Note 4. :).

Re: Laser Autofocus

There is a commercial that LG has that shows the person taking pictures just by tapping on the screen. Is there a way to do that because I have no idea how to do it on my device?

You just hop into your camera app, three vertical dots just press that, the shutter and everything else will disappear.

Enabling you to tap to shoot :-)
