The LG G3 has arrived :-)

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

When the Galaxy S3 was in the rumor stages, I followed this board everyday, soaking up information as it came in. I never owned a Samsung phone before, but I ordered it the day ATT started taking pre-orders. Thankfully I did not regret it.

I've never owned an LG phone, but I seem to be repeating the pattern with this phone. I'm anxiously awaiting for it to become available.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

I think I'm going to give LG a try. I've been using Samsung mainly and I think I wanna try something new. I love my Note 3 but it doesn't hurt to try something new right?

I just hope T-Mobile has it out by time I'm ready for my upgrade in July.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

I will as soon as they lower the off contract price like LG always does after a few months lol

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

I was going to decide between this phone and the S5 but have decided to put off buying anything until the S5 Prime is released.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

I am a phone collector and i am thinking seriously to the LG G3, but i have already 4 Android phones so i need to hold a G3 in my hand for the final decision, i will probably sell two Android if i choose the G3.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

Yeah, the S5 Prime is pretty intriguing. Can't wait as well to see what it's all about.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

Anxiously awaiting as well!
I have owned most brands in Android (past and present) and believe that it is hard to go wrong these days.
I think LG has done a great job the past couple of years and really believe that the LG3 will be the next big thing (or at least for a few months...LOL). HTC, Moto, Sony, Sammy, LG have all upped their games and it's just a matter of picking the options and characteristics that work best for you. I wouldn't hesitate to own any of the above but for now I do have my eye on the LG3.

I'm trying to wait for the flex 2. I love my g flex. I'm curious about the second one.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

Geez Spencer, you're making too much sense again....
I am totally happy with my Note3 and like you am anticipating the Note4. On the other hand, the LG3 is looking pretty good.
I really need a different (less expensive) hobby...LOL.

Even though I like what I've seen so far in the LG G3, I think I'm going to wait on the Note4. Unlike some others, MY Note3 has been exceptional and I will be giving the the Note series another go. The LG G3 appears to be a great device though.

I Iike it. Have to hold it though.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

I probably won't because
- removable battery
- QHD screen is a waste of battery imo
- SD card slot
- might be a bit too big for my taste, but that I have to play a bit more with it to decide

When the time comes (I'm sure I still have at least six more months out of my N4) I might be looking into a Nexus 5, or a moto x+1 if it's available where I live.

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

Nope. Gonna stick with the Note 3. LG G3 looks like a great phone but I don't need to upgrade and still love my Note 3.

Just got the s5 during the week of release. Still waiting for the next moto X, iPhone 6, note 4, nexus 6, and droid maxx. The g3 looks damn good though!

Not sure I understand how removable battery and SD card slot would rule a phone out? I also would wait to see if screen affects battery before buying. But please explain those first 2 for me.

Some people are philosophically opposed to things like removal batteries, SD cards....the light bulb, electricity, etc etc

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

So this phone needs to be out yesterday. I want it now! LOL

Re: So who will be purchasing the G3?

As npaladin-2000 mentions, this is somehow philosophical.

Regarding the battery, having it removable requires the addition to the phone of a physical separation between the battery and other components. This adds thickness to the device, and a few millimeters can I think change the feel of a device. Alternatively you could use the extra space to slightly increase the capacity of the battery.

Regarding the sd card I don't think I can put it as well as Jerry did a couple of years ago:
