My only concern with a phone this big is will it fit in my pants pocket?
Probably them ultra skinny pants which restrict blood flow, they usually have smaller pockets than the standard straight fit jeansThis is the question/concern that confuses me most. What kind of pants are people wearing that this is an issue? My Note 2 doesn't come anywhere close to being too big for my pockets.

Where i work, for security reasons phones are banned when on the plant floor. I do however have my Moto G with me, but would be worried about getting away with the Nexus 6.
Maybe just leave the nexus at home...

Lots of people love the Note series of phones. The iPhone 6+ is hugely popular.
What is the big deal about a 5.9" screen in a body that is slightly bigger than a Note 4? I think the concerns about the screen size are hugely overblown and the phone will be a huge success.
Unless its on every carrier it won't be a "huge" success. Most non tech people do not even know what a nexus is or "why" they should choose it over another device. Google doesn't care enough about the nexus line, hence the lack of marketing for it.
5.9" is big anyway you look at it! 5.5" is smaller! Plus it will have the Moto X form factor too! So I not sure if it feels like a 5.7" size??? But it definitely not a 5.5" feel!
Too big for me! 5" would have been perfect! Not sure what Google is thinking here! It they wanted to make it bigger; they should have gone to 5.5"
Honestly the Nexus 5 is still almost state of the art. With a 30% better battery life under L (I'll believe it when I experience it) there's no reason for them to discontinue it as the "smaller" option...What is puzzling is that we don't have more manufacturers trying to meet the needs of consumers who want a flagship phone in a smaller size.
Honestly, what choices do we have? We could recommend the Nexus 5, but it's not the latest device on the market. I guess we could also suggest the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, but that's not stock Android.
I actually like the idea of a bigger phone, but I realize that other people have different preferences. I just don't understand why manufacturers don't feel the same way.
Perhaps Project Ara is the answer, but we'll have to wait until 2015 for that.
I hope you are not using your real name to post here either Stephen. or you might need to look for a new job soon.
