You see where the notification is at ? Under the bezel wouldn't it look better in the bezel? That needs to be cleaned up ..the notch is not that bad

Don't see where nothing needs cleaned up but thr Bixby button and some software apps I can't remove.

Had a Pixel 2 XL from Thursday morning till Saturday morning when I took it back.

Didn't want to get stuck with a year old phone.
Wanted a 3XL instead.

The 2XL had no notch.

Seems there are more people that the big notch bothers, other than just me.
1st year that Google made a new phone with the notch.
I'd be wanting to ditch the 3 XL.
That is gonna weigh in a lot on weather I will get the 64gb it the 128 gb model.

But I like what's fast.
The faster the processor is and the more memory it has, the easier it can process information and save battery strength.
With the case and all I spent just shy of 1000.00.
For that kind of money.
I'd rather have the newest and fastest phone on the market.
Not the next fastest phone.
I seen the Pixel 3 XL had a bigger screen.
At my age, the bigger screen would be easier to look at.

I actually don't think the notch is as big of a deal to people to people. Lots of devices have them at this point. I think once the phone is released the topic will become background noise at best.

Function over form has been a priority for the Pixels and I believe their market will always appreciate that first and foremost.

The folks from Google said everything on YouTube was not real.

It's been a bit surprising to me, tbh. Maybe because it's the Google name or whatever, but still the hardware division is in such infancy.

I personally think their constant innovations with software deserve this type of attention, instead of a once a year hardware release.
