I would check other reviews. There are many more on you tube. I would also not rely on phone arena's stats. Literally no one has said the display is poor. Battery life, while not outstanding, has not been rated poor by anyone.

The Note 7 with more power hungry chipset and display per most reviews and users had great battery life. Even with slightly bigger display (actual square inch surface is not much bigger than Note 7) and 2gb more ram the Note 8 should at least be the same, or better.

Nope, because most reviews not named phonearena base their battery ratings on standardized tests. So even if their ways of testing are different, if the test is standard for all phones they reviewed, then they should all have the same results with respect to their standardized ratings.

I'm also not having battery issues so far. Important to give it at least 2 weeks before jumping to conclusions. The phone starts optimizing apps etc, and things improve.
