Google charged me $25.00 for 2 day shipping which there is no other options,i think my total was $236.65.So if i would of preordered from gs i would have already got it and saved $25.00,hmmmm! I bet gamestop starts getting tons of people preordering from them for now on,
I really think google needs to step up and do something for all those who ordered from their play store. Give everyone a 25gb google drive or something. I have to admitt it stinks to order from them to support their company, pay shipping and in some cases tax to receive their tablets last or the same as everyone else. I order from Staples to avoid these extra charges and mine is shipped and I will receive it Monday. I feel for you folks, where's the loyalty reward.
Ordered mine on the 6th from Google Play and heard nothing of it yet. Have they started sending them to the UK from the Play Store yet or not?
I've been running jelly bean for a few weeks now. You just need to keep Google searching, the cards will show up. It learns from your searches!

Just ran an idling battery test while I slept. Almost 7 hours and didn't drop 1%. I am going to put it through it's paces today though.

There was alot of anger yesterday about retailers releasing the 7 for sale ahead of pre orders. Because of an ordering error on my my, I had to reorder, a 27th order, on the 28th.
Just received shipment notice that my 7 is on the way.
I would still preorder from g games again as this assured me of receiving a tablet. For those who took the chance of buying one early... thats what it was... a chance or, River Boat gambling[.
Now I'm just looking forward to what was pretty much of a sure thing./B]

It looks like you ordered the 8GB version. GS is only taking preorders the $250 16GB version.

My kids both ordered theirs after me, they got charged and shipping confirmations. I am a bit bummed. :'(
Let me start by saying that while I'm a little miffed that the GSers got their pre-orders in before us GPers, it did force Google's hand into shipping earlier, and people on the forums are raving about their experience with the Nexus 7, which is excellent news for those of us who pre-ordered with no hands-on experience.
So with the "first world problems" aside, Google has to realize that a large number of people who pre-ordered from the Play Store noticed that they could've ordered from Game Stop and gotten it cheaper (no shipping charge). That's bad for Google, as in the future a lot of people will think "well screw supporting Google, I'll get it cheaper and faster from Game Stop"
With that being said, it's absolutely in Google's best interests to try and rectify the situation for those of us who pre-ordered through them, in order to ensure that our experience remains positive and we would be willing to purchase from them again.
I'd be happy with either an extra credit in the Google Play or my shipping charge refunded. Google doesn't need to go all out to fix this, but it does need to realize that despite being the "source", it wasn't the best "deal" on the market, and that's terrible for business, brand loyalty, etc.
Google's always come across as a company willing to do the "right thing". Let's hope they'll do something to right this situation, so everyone can walk away happy

i preordered mine on thursday GS got 2 which were preordered by people before me and picked up on fri. the guy said that mine will be coming in on monday
I got one this morning from Best Buy in North Carolina the guy said that he had just received a shipment and only had a few left when I called.

Just picked mine up from gamestop. They had two, one that was preordered and one that was just available. I got the one that was just available.
