The official Sprint network speed thread (post your speeds)

This morning in Forest Hills, Queens NY. I'd be fine if Sprint's 3G speeds were consistently like this.


And this was in Kew Gardens, Queens NY a few weeks ago where I was able to find LTE (spotted cell towers on top of this building).

I was up in NY late March and took 3 tours. Got pretty consitent signal in many places and decent speeds, but still needs to expand A LOT more.

This is so depressing. I only pay $30 a month but it's useless. I really think I'm moving to T-mobile. This is why I bought my S4 off contract because I can't put up with this. At&t, Verizon and Metropcs all have LTE everywhere in the greater Sacramento area and T-Mobile has HSPA+42. Sprint is terrible here, and pretty much everywhere I've been around California. My friends are radio technicians and they always tell me how pathetic Sprints network is. And how it's just thrown together and how strict the other carriers are on the work that's done. It obviously shows with their speeds and coverage.

Yeah if you are in a non LTE area I'd move. If i was 3g only that wasn't network visiond yet I would of left.. But our 3g is good due to NV and LTE is around.

Tmobile is where I would go to if I had to.. Don't want to pay overages on data.

They are currently building network vision and LTE here is the thing. Just started a couple weeks ago. This better make their network about 100Xs better than it is now. I just feel screwed over because the last 2 years has been garbage and I just keep giving them money. Thank god I only pay $30 a month as I said before.

That's fair. My brother, his wife and my niece were all on a family plan for the last several years. I was asking him how he liked Sprint and was saying I might get them so he said just join his plan for $30. I couldn't argue with that. I think he gets something like a 20% discount from being a state employee.

Goldsboro Nc dead slow nothing higher then 200 kb download for past 2 weeks n more dropped data than ever. Sprint has been working in phases on Network Vision for the area since Dec 2012. Estimated time of completion is end of June. Ill believe it when i see it.
