i just spoke to what sounded like a somewhat knowledgeable rep today. I told him I wanted to look over several things on my account and make sure we would be ready to go when the Nexus hits. I wanted to check eligibility for my NE2 and also the $100 discount mentioned in another thread. After we discussed all of the ins and outs of the account. He did not say anything when i first made mention of it. When we where done i said soooo, now that we have gotten that out of the way, when can i be expecting the phone? He said should be soon and said let me see if i can find any info for you. he was pecking away at his keyboard and started making hmmm noises. He says that is strange, we used to have pages for it in our equipment guide and they are now gone. He said all of my links are broken and say page not available. He said this is so strange as we have been receiving alot of info on this phone recently and even had release dates. doesnt sound to promising

I'm looking at Sprint, and either a Galaxy S II or a Nexus S.

Great phones but unless you are in a major metro area and expect to stay on wimax you are going to be seriously disappointed.. I tried Sprint when waiting for the Bionic and their 3G data speed is nowhere near verizons in my area(usually 1.5-2m down).. I was in the "best" coverage area and rarely saw 600k down, typically 1-300k thank god for their 30 day return policy they haqd or id be stuck paying a $10 premium data fee for dial up speed screw that

After last Friday it was removed from the equipment guide so snooping idiots like your rep couldn't spread false information.

Verizon rep called to remind me I'm sitting on an upgrade. My gf answered since I'm driving, she told the lady I'm waiting for the nexus and asked when we could get it but the lady just laughed. Wtf do you make of that?

Spiff on the RAZR or rezound are probably more than the nexus.

How long ago did you try Sprint? Perhaps they've improved since then. I'm in the Harrisburg, PA, market, which certainly isn't a major metro area but is showing 4G coverage on the Sprint site.

I am in the same general area and know some with sprint and it has pretty good coverage.

Harrisburg, PA as well, as much as a coincidence as that seems! Was back in September. Wimax was fine, saw speeds up to 8m down, it was just 3G which was horrendous.

I'm either going to hit High Pointe corporate store or the Radioshack in the east mall. RS almost sold us one Saturday, activated but couldnt get it through POS

I got the call today. A guy I left my name and number with at the corporate store called to confirm the launch this Thursday the 15th. He said the store would be opening at 9am for the launch. I of coarse scheduled for 9am. I also have the voicemail saved if anyone wants to hear it.

I am doing the same. I am using an alternate upgrade so I may have to go to vzw store. High pointe has always seemed to have the most courteous group compared to colonial park. Funny I went into radioshack friday and they said we can't sell them yet, then I called earlier today and some young guy answered saying they prob wont get them for another week or two lol.

I can't stand the small parking lot at the Colonial Park one so thats why I go there... as for Radio Shack they are definitely there it was the manager that rung us up, he called his DM to make sure he could sell and I swore I was walking out with it til we scanned it after activation and kept saying unsellable :'(

Yikes, I'd better join the ranks of those calling around and reserving a Nexus with so many Harrisburgers on here!

The workers at the colonial park one are real pricks and only will go there as a last resort. I guess I will just call tomorrow night if nothing changes and see which ones will have them and if any will hold one for me.
