Called two stores. Tampa and Hollywood in Florida, both say that it has been delayed and its not tomorrow, that VZW would have a press release when it comes out

That will be my last resort since I have a dentist appt in the morning so hoping to get a nexus before that and not have to worry about running all over the place.

Just called my store in Westchester NY they told me tomorrow! I had called 3 or 4 times in the last couple of weeks and they told me they had no idea.

So my local Verizon corporate store called today...

...and told me to come in tomorrow, the 15th, after 9am to pick up my Nexus. On the ninth I stopped at the store to see if they had any, and to my surprise they had received their stock and had a non-official demo unit for me to play with. I told them I wanted it ASAP and they put me on a list to call when they could sell them. I will be trading in my rented Rezound tomorrow!

Michigan, not sure if I want to say the town.

This store seems to get things early... or at least bend the rules on release dates. They had the whole Razr display set up like a week before any other store as well.

So you don't like your Rezound? While I've always leaned towards the Nexus, the ReZound has peaked my interest.

Interesting - I called both my local Verizon store yesterday and was told that the release would be on the 15th. Called back today and was told that the release date had again been pushed back.

Rezound is awesome. I highly recommend it. However I am a tech junkie and want ICS.

I also did the "Rezound-while-waiting" thing and I will say I really, really like it. I have Sense covered up with LauncherPro and I like the speed, smoothness, the nice "heft" (I hate light phones) and the screen. I don't like some of the Verizon apps that insist on running, but if the Nexus was cancelled (God forbid!) I would be perfectly happy with this Rezound.

Ya thats what the reps at all 4 of the stores Ive called so far are saying. The lady at vzw I just called and asked if they were selling it tomorrow, said let me check, and I heard her ask a coworker next to her if they have announced the launch yet for the nexus and the answer was no but Ill take your name and number and call you when the release is announced.
