Getting a new message now...can't check for update at this time.....I haven't seen that one before. Was getting no update available, system has latest version.

I have been getting the cant check for update message sense about 7 PM Hawaii time last night. I've switched between wifi and cell, with 4G, and restarted my phone. Not sure what would cause it to be unable to check for an update...

I'm thinking that this isn't going to happen. Sorry, but a Best Buy rumor and some people purporting to be "Verizon employees" don't make for a very convincing case.

All Razrs for all service providers will get their update around the same time.. +/- a day or so..
I have the XT910 (GSM) on AT&T..

Uh, that's not true, each carrier does testing independent of the manufacturer and that time can vary depending on carrier. Unless I'm misunderstanding your post.

Not sure if this should be taken with anything but a grain of salt, but I called Verizon this morning and played stupid about updating my phone and the rep told me I'm currently not running the most current version. He said version 6.12.181 was out and I should be able to update. Not sure if that version is even ics.
