The pre order button is up

Was finally able to get my order to go through. Of course, now I'll be at the back of the line for shipments!

Ah well. Just hope it doesn't ship/arrive while I'm out of town at the end of next week!
 
Has anyone been able to order the docks while UPGRADING a line on their account?

I have tried, and can only get the docks when I am tryign to start a NEW account.

I even called and the ****** on the phone from ATT said he would wait until they come into the store.

I had the option to, but, chose not to. They were all listed under the 'Accessories' as I was working my way through checkout.

I'm on Premier, though, so I can't speak to what the regular work flow would have.
 
Man it sucks I still can't pre order on premier. I'm able to get $25 off online under USPS employee discount. I might just go in store to pre order. I hope my 50% accessories work on atrix stuff when they come out. I couldn't get the discount on Apple products.
 
I had the same problem, upgrading from an iPhone. The accessories were only available as part of the order if it was a new line. None were even offered while going through the upgrade process. The web site's accessories page says, "There are no compatible accessories for this selection."

Spent a loooong time on the phone yesterday trying to straighten this out. While several of the many people I ended up talking to seemed competent, the accessories just weren't available to them in the system.

Finally, a supervisor told me to call from my phone once it was activated and they would overnight the accessories to me and wave the shipping.

I suppose we'll see about that.

I ordered mine through Premier by calling (866) 499-8008 . They were nice enough but had a long wait time yesterday morning...surely that's cleared up.

Where ever you order from, make sure you keep the unlimited data plan (if you have one and want to keep it). Many have reported, and it happened to me, that they will tell you you have to move to a tiered plan.

What I see now on my account is that they are cancelling my SmartPhone Personal Unlimited in April and then a new SmartPhone Personal Unlimited kicks in (at the same price). The difference is the new plan, when you click on details, shows that it is requires the customer to be on the "Gold List".

Data Plan for SmartPhones. Unlimited domestic data usage. Only available for upgrades. Requires customers to be on a "Gold List" SmartPhone Plan prior to upgrade to HSPA+ device.
 
I tried again to preorder this morning, and still wasn't getting the option to preorder for the no contract price although the no contract price was showing up before I clicked on the phone on the device selection page. So I decided to take the option to chat when the little online customer service box popped up. I asked about ordering no contract. And I was told I could not preorder and I would have to wait till the phone was in the store. They don't seem to be too keen on you buying off contract. Also, in all my attempts to order by upgrading and paying the no contract price, I haven't seen an option to buy the accessories either.
 
i was told that the phones were being released soon as in the next week by the att cust. service rep on the phone....lets hope its true, he said my order was being fulfilled

I got this message too. I ordered mine on sat. night at around 11pm CST. I don't think it means we won't get our phones, its prob. just the way their system works. Technically they don't have it in stock yet.

Yeah, I didn't order mine until this morning (2/14) and my confirmation said it would ship on or before 3/6. So, I don't think they are out of stock - yet.
 
they aren't 'out of stock'. it's a preorder. i ordered mine within the first hour so that would have to be impossible.
 
Is there any reason why the $100 instant rebate isn't show when i check out? Im trying to upgrade but did not get the $100 discount.

Same here. It shows as $299 w/out the $100 instant rebate showing up. Tried calling Premier customer support but they said they'll put a "ticket" into the matter and that they couldn't place the order for me over the phone and that I'd have to wait and order it online. Man....AT&T sucks big time!!!
