"The software update service is not uvailable. Maximum number of roll-out updateshas been exceeded""

Re: "The software update service is not uvailable. Maximum number of roll-out updateshas been exceed

I have the same message and it's driving me nuts.

On a different note, does the stock keyboard work any better? The autocorrect on mine is so random as to be useless - adding words, repeating words and randomly capitalizing. It's the biggest issue I have with this thing (fixed easily enough with SwiftKey, of course).

Kies3 with my Windows 7 computer worked fine for me in the Boston area.

Re: "The software update service is not uvailable. Maximum number of roll-out updateshas been exceed

Don't drive yourself nuts and READ the warning. The OTA servers are capped and can only serve a handful of updates per day, region, state, etc. Why? I don't know. Many companies opt to go this way.

However, just like the warning states, you can either wait another 24 hours OR just use Kies (Samsung's desktop software; their version of iTunes). THAT update path is not capped and lets you download the update to your computer at any time after said update has been released (as long as your model IS listed under the updated ones).

Saw the recent announcement that the Kitkat update for Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition was being pushed out starting in I think Columbia.

Someone's been playing too much Bioshock.
