Quick Q... I'm on the pink swype but the original file, not the metamorph... how would I go about switching if I wanted to?

And if you made a purple one, I'm sure my friend would love it.

Could be wrong you might beable just do what my instructions say a few pages back and it will zip over it.

To install the swype themes you will need to install Metamorph from the market. Then follow Thabyrdman's instructions on how to install the swype skins.




Also found a few transparency errors in the last couple Dialers. The blue and red ones. So i'll update them soon

No just the stock swype. If you search for the metamorphs for mdpi Beta swype might work. But I dont know.

Probably needs its own post... but here they are Metamorph swype files. For Reborn 2.1 or any other 2.2.2 Froyo builds if the Swype.apk is in the /system/app/ folder. Should work any of the Optimus with the stock Swype.apk in the /system/app/ folder. Otherwise move it to that directory.

Install Metamoph from the market
Download the color swype zip file to your SDCard.
Open metamorph
unzip/extract new theme
find the color swype Zip and select it
let it do its thing unziping
close next screen (shows the developer)

Reboot

lang. & keyboards
select input method
swype

really? i find v. 3.0 to be sooo much more accurate and quicker and smarter, ill try to use one of these skins on the new beta and see if it works

Just an update about theming the new Swype beta.... I tried theming the new beta swype and it wouldn't take it via 4 different ways. Only partly successful using apk manager, but loses licensing and swyping ability. So there is no easy way yet.
