What do you use to convert png to pro if anything, can I just rename the png to pro?

Thanks

I asked the same thing yesterday. Just add .pro after the file name and it's done. Worked for me perfectly when I was theming the power control widget.

Do you know which icon to change so that you a real change to the text/sms messaging... it doesn't seem to be where I expect it...

thoughts?

Not to nit pick, but the Gingerbread theme needs the vertical lines in the settings menu. I seriously stopped using theme because they're absent. Haha. :-)

[edit: I meant the menu's that pop up when you press the menu key.]

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find a straight answer. When I flash theme zip's I can get most of the looks, but not all the icons etc will change. Is there something I'm missing? Using UOT Kitchen I can change things like the notification drawer look, battery icon, wifi icon, and a couple other things.. But notification icons like the new sms icon are still the stock green, and kindof go against the clean black/white overall look I have going on.. Thanks in advance guys.. (and gals)

Its frustrating. Signal strength must be changed in lge-res.apk. And the sms icon is in mms.apk.

Not sure if this is a 2.2 thing, or an lg thing...

Awesome, thanks. So in doing this, can I just take those apk's off the phone and edit them, then repackage the apk and stick it back on the phone? or do i have to flash it in a zip like I did for the rest of the theme? Thanks again,

Adb remount
Then adb push to install... Reboot to test...

Nandroid is your friend...

Alright, one last thing - which .pro file is it actually (that is the sms icon in the status bar when I receive a new text message)? There's a lot of them in the mms.apk that seem like they could be it..

open them up in photoshop and it will show you what each one looks like. if its an xml file or something then get an xml editor too:)

Trying TPT, big issue I'm seeing is the battery icon shows charging weird. Indicator will show a constant 0 to 15 charge animation when charging a low battery, then 15 to 100 for the rest. Other themes show it with a non animated charge for whatever has been charged, then animated for whatever is left.

I was/am getting the same issue as you.

There something wrong with with the battery on this theme. I started charging around 44% after an hour it was at 48%. So i installed another theme and my battery was a 64%. went it to settings and it was 64% as it should.

gatorboots seems to be working fine.

Thanks for the themes btw. :)

Hmm interesting. Think of yourselves as testers since I don't test these themes myself before releasing lol. I'll fix it tonight.

No problem. :)
Will test out again when you re-upload it.

Thanks
Edit: I'm using thunderRom if that helps

I'm giving all the themes a face lift tonight. SME is being uploaded right now. Next on deck is Gingerbread. The main reason for doing this is because I wrote a shell script to detect if your current ROM has the dalvik-cache to cache mod and clear the correct folder to clear up any boot loop issues. While I'm at it might as well fix em up.

EDIT: Alright everything has been updated. Rock and roll.

Gingerbread should be changed back. It needs to horizontal dividers like all other versions of Android. I'm horrible with photoshop otherwise I'd do it myself. Thanks for all your hard work, though!

Yeah I'm trying to figure out how to do just that. I think I have to deal with .9.png's and maybe .xml files. It isn't a quick fix like I anticipated.

That makes sense since each menu uses different icons. Thanks for working on it!
