Really... you had to go there. If you don't think 4G is worth more than 3G why are you in this forum anyway? I don't think he wants to pay more he said he is WILLING to pay more.

How do you know how much it costs VZW to offer the service? If you don't want to pay for it, don't pay for it. Again, it's America, VZW has competitors with comprable products -- take your business elsewhere.

The ultimate point of my post was that Tiered Data is fine... it's not great because I love unlimited 3G at 29.99. However, I would gladly pay more than $29.99 for unlimited 4G data versus worrying about my data usage throughout the month.

One other point... everyone who is having a heart attack over 10.. 15.. 20.. dollars more a month should probably be evaluating whether or not they need a brand new 4G cell phone in the first place.

You can travel to areas that do... the same way I can travel to areas that do not... if you don't want to pay the premium (if or when that is ever truly determined to be).

If you don't want to pay the premium, if there is one, then buy a 3G device.

Sorry, but that is your option.

Nowhere that I am aware of did VZW ever say that they are not going to institute a Tiered price plan on 3G.

The point is you can get a 3g phone today and get unlimited data for $30. If you have a 3g plan and don't change anything you pay $30 for unlimited. If you get 4G it is a new service and they can choose to charge $100 a kb is they want to... or something more realistic ... get a 4g phone you pay what VZW wants to charge you.

Or, you could buy a 3G phone and a 4G phone at the same time the TBolt is released and pay the same rate, whatever VZW wants to charge you. I guess we are in violent agreement.
