Good morning AC. I proudly state that this is my last day with my BB Storm1. Its time for me to but this POS phone to pasture.

1 year contract price is normally about 70 bucks more.. so that price sounds right.

And who doesnt wanna be ready for the next 700 page topic generating superphone.. with LTE-A.;)

Thanks for the backup Panda .. PS the wife says Thanks again and she can't wait to receive the package!

I beg to differ. The only difference is the networks that are supported. One is for CDMA, the other GSM. You'll notice that the specs are identical except that the MSM8655 supports CDMA where the MSM8255 doesn't.

am i getting false information?

Well, I guess they can charge you what ever they want if Retailer....When you go in tomorrow you'll find out. Once you sign that contract its final

Did you check Gazelle? I've found they are pretty good about that.

Just checked there. If they agree with my assessment of it being in good condition they quoted $39 and even if they knock it down a notch to fair condition the quote is $30. So that's not too bad I guess.

I will be literally smashing my Berry that I've been using as a backup for the past few weeks into the ground.... for now on im keeping a spare android phone to use as a backup.

I picture that scene in Office Space when they were smashing the fax machine or printer (whatever it was)...:D:D:D

Holy crap, that's a big jump. Is there any particular reason she kept a Voyager for so long?

2 yr contract and waiting for the Thunderbolt to come out. She didn't have a need for a smartphone at the time. Technology is my strong point, not hers, so she didn't want to get email or anything like that on the phone and she wanted one with a keypad. Luckily I've swayed her away from having to have a physical keypad and to give a touch screen a shot.

But her requirements have changed though as well. She wants facebook, email and web browsing on her phone now. Her biggest push is the Body Media app though so she can enter in daily food logs.

I've just been sad for the past year or so setting up company mail on every new Android phone that's passed by me, now it's my time for a new Android phone, and burn the Blackberry bridge I came in on.
