anywho, Bennnnn, when you say sign up when we get the ThunderBolt, how can we sign up if we don't have LTE in our area? can we still do it if we don't have LTE in our billing zip code?

17th? It was nice of Verizon to try to get it out sooner but they also shouldn't have teased and taunted us, and then they started to get cocky on twitter.

Is the 17th date because of the iPad? or maybe the Merge launch.

my main question I would like to have answered though if you can't answer them all, is if I can still get unlimited LTE if I don't have any in my area,,,

Its kinda funny that everything Bennnn has said has been proven false. Seems, fishy and for the record I don't believe a word he says either. I think he knows no more than any of us. He has proven nothing to this point except he can relay postponements just like anyone else could. Name 1 thing the guy has said that has actually happened??

Well let's I am from 100% sure down to 80% sure (in 65 days from the launch my contract will be up...it might pay to be patient...just not sure yet). But what I do know is that having this relatively vetted infromation takes the drama out of this for me for next two weeks. Unibolt...if your glass is half empty...maybe you should take a deep breath.

I think he is predicting the bolt on St Patrick's day...but if you wait until some time after passover you can get a dual core....IMO...

Yes, he is hinting at Bolt for St Patty's & dual-core bionic after the passover. But I still believe he was making a calculated guess. That was too early to name an exact date - even the carriers/manufacturers hadn't done that, even internally, I guess.

Well I think I owe everyone here an apology. The delays are my fault. Whenever I come on here the date gets pushed back. Lol. Ok on a serious note. Yes ben changed the date of the 10th to the 17th. But he did it well before the 10th. If he wasn't legit he would have changed it a lot later. Also he mentioned that Verizon missed there 2 earlier target dates out of 3. With St. Paddy's day being the last. So all the comments on the weekly delays is moot. All those dates were speculated due to them being Thursdays. I believe Ben. Though its annoying, he is just the messenger. Here on his own trying to help us make it through this roller coaster ride. Keep the heads cool lady's and fella's. And a thanks to you Ben not just for the info but for not getting sucked into the heat.

When he pointed this out before he left the forums and shuttered him self up on Twitter privately, he said it was ThunderBolt and Bionic he was referring to

St Pattys Day for ThunderBolt
Bionic for Easter

I just hope its announced next week to stop the delay rumors from still coming down the pipe, and having Dual Core might be good for some people like hardcore gamers that want to get Tegra Zone apps, but the ThunderBolt has enough power to hold its own, even at just 1GHz

Thank you for all you do. You have been a ton of help around here. If you weren't here to balance it all out I have no clue what the forum members would say/do to each other.

On a different note, you mentioned Netflix as well as cloud based services will be released shortly after - Oh, including htcsense.com too which will be sweet! Though my question to you, can you confirm about skype as you did with the other features you mentioned above?

The vzw thunderbolt page removed the skype logo and only carries the Rockband logo (maybe for now). Will we be able to do skype video chat just as the reps were showing at CES (we know that was only a skype demo)?

and it WAS announced during the CES announcement, RockBand was demoed on the ThunderBolt there.

1. I wasn't given a date as to when the announcement is. This phone is becoming a bit ridiculous with all the inconsistencies it is facing so I could either be a week before or a day before. As always, I will keep you all updated on my hearings.

2. Yep, If you buy the Thunderbolt launch day, you will be locked into unlimited!

I saw somewhere a post by htc that tiered pricing may be launched with the TB. Is that accurate or is the $30 unlimited still a go for the launch?

Also you say unlimited will be locked in if you get on launch day. What do you believe the safe window will be after launch for getting locked in at unlimited.

If you do get locked in at that price what happens at the end of the 2 year contract? Do you maintain your $30 price or when you sign a new contract do you have to change to the new pricing?
