I hope this "shove" business does not turn into another flame war. I am tired today, having to break up an altercation between two coworkers that almost resulted in a fistfight.

Hey, he decided to "start it"...If he steps off there won't be an issue. He has me confused with the guy who told someone to shove something up his butt. I never said that.

I have no idea why it started jumping all over me. There are a few people like that around here.

I guess the consensus now is Bolt won't make the 10th...some other thread is saying the 17th. My wife is starting to think iPhone since she doesn't customize hers much.

ON TOPIC: Nothing personal, Bennnnn, but I choose to believe a press release and nothing short of a press release. There still exists the potential for ANOTHER delay, and I've become so cynical that I will be SHOCKED BEYOND BELIEF if there is an announcement on Monday. While I don't doubt your info, I think the feeling at Verizon is that they have almost 4 weeks to release this phone before they start to look bad, and apparently they aren't too picky about their reasons. By Monday I'm sure some Dolt with a 6 figure salary will opine that people will be too busy drinking green beer on the 17th, so they should wait until the 24th.

Yeah! If you don't want to customize the phone much, then iPhone is the way to go. But I like to root and flash custom ROMs. So I will not get an iPhone. (Jailbreaking does not cut it for me)

I'm ready for this to come out already. I just hope the dealyw as worth it. All these rumors about battery issues makes me worry a bit about the Thunderbolt. My Droid Eris has a terrible battery and regardless of how fast 4G is, if I have to plug my phone in several times a day, its not worth it.

There is no way he knew the exact launch date in November. Unless he is Nostradamus-incarnate, that was a shot in the dark and if it does get launched on the 17th, I'd say it was a very lucky shot.
