It also lends a little credence to the original March 17th date.
Anything that doesn't help the Thunderbolts "case" is just going to continue to upset everyone here, regardless of the informations context. Context went out the window a LONG time ago here...
At what point does the delay outpace the life cycle of the technology? i.e. At what point in 2011 are ThunderBolt specs officially out-dated?
Agreed. I think I was upset by the 2/14 delay but every delay after that was no big deal. I don't get agitated about dates any more because as my momma told me "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
Oh... and beyond that... I got 99 problems and a Bolt Ain't one.
Hey, someone else with a life, sweet!
People need to look at the bigger picture here: it's a phone, no one needs it, and no one will die without it. It'll be released when it's released; no one will die if it never gets released. Get over it and wait like everyone else.

I wouldn't go that far... I'm still very excited about it and don't particularly subscribe to the "it's just a phone" argument... but I think people generally think that if you care about the release date or the fact that VZW has delayed and delayed that some how you're a hysterical person.
I am very enthusiastic about this device but don't get hysterical when a date is missed, like many of the very passionate posters on this forum.
Congratulations on your indifference. However, you've been reading and then posted in a thread, and frankly an entire forum, dedicated to discussion about the merits of the phone including -- its release date. Discussion, all points agreeing with or oppossing one another, *is* the point.
The more I read about the tbolt and it's lighting fast speed (pun intended) on my og droid, the more I get frustersted with how slow my current phone is. The 256mb of ram on the droid is far to little and the 768mb on the tbolt is what makes the phone attractive to me. I just want to return to my home screen and not have to wait 15 seconds for it to load!

I completely agree with you, it's just crazy to come whining and crying because the phone was delayed from a date that had never been official to begin with; that was my first point.
Yes, we know there has not been an "official press release". Each time I've heard someone attempt this arguement (at least 100x in this thread alone), they never mention the official Thunderbolt commercial that said "febrero" at the end? Why is that?
Again, I ask:
Again, I ask:
I answered, but I'll answer again. I had never seen the Spanish version; and I assume most others hadn't either. There is no good answer for it though, things slip by, stuff happens, plans change. Pretty much anyone who works in a corporate environment should be aware of this.
I work in Staples data centers and things change on an hourly basis here, that's just how it is. Not to say that it's the "right" way to do things, but that's how it happens.
