Just curious to anyone who might of actually gone to CES or last few big technology events. When I spoke with Netflix they openly stated they are working hard on secuirty features needed to put Netflix on Android devices and having working beta application. Yet don't expect it to be something you ever see on the market or pushed with an update from HTC / Goggle, as it will be something as tagged "Netflix Onboard" or something for future phones.

So did someone have any other solid articles stating they will be pushing Netflix to recently released devices to change information from this article Android Owners: Netflix Has Good News and Bad News

Don't get me wrong I want Netflix just like the next person but even if this processor has correct DRM Netflix seem to have claimed it will not be a "Market" type app it will be on the phone or it won't. So chances we will see Netflix on TB just seem to be less and less likely :|

If it's not going to be a downloadable app (I agree, I don't think it will be), I think it'll be baked into the 2.3/2.4 update.

Now for a little speculation and also prevention of deserters going to another carrier, and these are WHOPPERS thanks to the CTIA news and some more digging.

T-Mobile while we know is getting the G2X, its actually the Optimus 2X, which we knew
the Double Shot, I have NO idea which HTC handset this might be, but it COULD be T-mobile's Incredible S since AT&T is also getting it. Its quite possible we have another Touch Pro 2 launch on our hands as HTC launched the handset on each US carrier, with AT&T having to be special and calling it the Tilt2 instead of the Touch Pro 2 like Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

the HTC Pyramid is NOT a phone, its a Tablet, if you think about the name you can figure that out, Egypt + Pyramids = Tablets

Sprint, the EVO3D may be coming but that doesn't mean its an HTC handset
last year when EVO 4G was announced, Sprint had said EVO was going to be a brand they would expand on, and its not going to be limited to one manufacturer.

Take a look at the HTC G2, it started with the HTC G1 (aka Hero), then G2, and now its moving to LG Optimus 2X as the G2X

EVO - EVO 4G, EVO 4G Shift, EVO View by HTC (HTC Flyer tablet), EVO 3D - Optimus 3D by LG

So i'm beginning to re-think my backup plan to leave Verizon if they don't deliver the Tbolt by CTIA. It seems we may have the best HTC handset for this year until around the end of 2011,

which as of MWC the HTC 3D handset shown off in concept forms to show the power behind the chip they plan to use, isn't slated to be completed until *ding ding* either the end of 2011 or beginning of 2012, hmmm
IS THAT the 2012 Verizon handset that BMX started to talk about, is that the 2012 device on Mission 11 that can't be shown!? hmmm

interesting news indeed

You don't have to believe me, i don't believe it yet myself, but i'm leaning the direction to though

I run a partnership on the side of my job.

iPad 2 paperwork is also piling up :(
Two questions I have -
1) Does the Thunderbolt have an LED light indicator for messages and notifications?
2) Are we still assuming $30.00 unlimited data at launch and being gradnfathered in to any changes in the summer...or expecting tiered pricing to launch with the phone?

Thanks for all the info Bennnnn

those questions have been covered.

1) Yes
2) Still a strong likelihood that we'll be grandfathered in

I can answer that for Bennnnn, but i can't answer the pricing.

It looks like its going to be like the Incredible's notification LED
HTC-Incredible-HD.jpg

The picture speaks for itself

On the Incredible, Red - Charging, blinking red - bad battery, blinking green - notification, solid green - fully charged

i sure wish they would put a RGB led in the tbolt or any phone for that matter. it sure does make it nice for custom colors for sms, email, missed calls, etc. even different color for different contacts.

I completely agree. Surprisingly enough, I think that's a huge deal. I use it to distinguish between work texts, personal texts ect. I find it extremely useful on my Droid and wish it were on the Thunderbolt

I sure hope this thing launches soon I'm getting impatient, but hey if it comes out on St. patty's days then I'll be happy, cause 1) im irish and 2) I can drink an nice cold beer while playing with my bolt :)

Is it a htc thing? Because before my droid x I had an incredible and it didn't have custom color notifiers either

I think all Android phones have multicolored led's on them because some apps utilize it. I've mine light up purple or blue before and I have a Droid 2 and I've seen my co-workers Incredible do it too

You make very good points and will be interesting to see in the future.

hmmm maybe I'm thinking of the DX, oh well, it'd be sick if the Bolt had RGB led's

yes, the Droid X has a RGB led

EVO has a second LED that was disabled, but when it was hacked it was used for a custom notification led

the way to test it out is to use Handscent to change your custom notification LED's to a certain color.

Ok... I just read 80 PAGES pheww lol here is my input

The battery issues are real, and are what is holding the phone up. This is according the person that sent the pictures of the Samsung Stealth to TechnoBuffalo.

Verizon Updates: Where's the ThunderBolt?!? | TechnoBuffalo

Nice link bro. We already know that LTE is causing battery drains. Takes alot of power to emit brain-damaging-tumor-inducing waves of death. Or headaches. But honestly I'm not surprised by this. Fixing it with firmware updates? Try a different battery as well.
