so, right now we're thinking that verizon is considering (if not already decided on) tiered pricing, but at the same time we're anticipating a rollout very soon of netflix and google music. if i remember correctly, there's been talk on this forum that maybe these would be exempt from counting towards data usage. if this is the case, then tiered data pricing wouldn't be that bad, would it? netflix i would use most likely on a wifi network anyway, but google music would be much less appealing if using it meant a constant drain on my data limit. verizon would kill a lot of excitement over these two apps if they were going to consume large amounts of data from a newly-tiered-pricing network.
