Yes, but a leaked Froyo/Gingerbread ROM has to make its way out into the wild first.
For example, Gingerbread leaks are out for other phones, but there hasn't yet been one released for the Epic (Sprint's Galaxy phone). So Epic users can't flash any Gingerbread ROMs since all the other leaks are specific to other phones. It took a while before the Epic had any Froyo leaks, and it appears it will be a long while before they get any GB ones...
It's also worth noting that there is very little cyanogen support for a lot of Samsung phones, with some getting no CM love at all.

so, right now we're thinking that verizon is considering (if not already decided on) tiered pricing, but at the same time we're anticipating a rollout very soon of netflix and google music. if i remember correctly, there's been talk on this forum that maybe these would be exempt from counting towards data usage. if this is the case, then tiered data pricing wouldn't be that bad, would it? netflix i would use most likely on a wifi network anyway, but google music would be much less appealing if using it meant a constant drain on my data limit. verizon would kill a lot of excitement over these two apps if they were going to consume large amounts of data from a newly-tiered-pricing network.
You guys are very entertaining.....I literally LOL'd at the leaked verizon mailing showing the bolt as available.......thats some great marketing there...so, like the rest of you, I sit and wait...........and wait............and wonder..........

Well, the story has been that the ads are put together weeks or months in advance... so if we apply that logic maybe it is just due to go off ad. Trying to keep a positive attitude!
here's a question, why didnt they make the kickstand pop out to the other side, that way you could have it standing on its side w/ the kickstand AND have it plugged in to the usb at the same time...
